1980's Vintage Purple Acrylic Necklace, with Large Oval Beads

A beautiful rich plum purple acrylic bead necklace from the 1980's makes this a definite statement piece! These are beautiful, very large oval beads. Each one is approximately 1 5/8" long x 5/8" wide. Between each bead it is double-knotted, giving it more flexibility. Additionally, the thick string is close in color to the beads, allowing it to blend together without stark contrasts. The necklace itself only weighs 5.9 ozs, making it lightweight and comfortable around the neck. It is a single knotted strand of approx. 30" with oval beads and a copper tone chain and working lobster claw closure with an additional 3" extension chain. There are a few minor surface scratches which is normal wear for vintage pieces. This is in very good vintage condition and clean, coming from a pre-owned and well-loved home.
