reduce_reuse_xo Hey there! So you would say the waist here is 30? All the denims have different stretch and weight-- I'm not familiar with the black.

I realize it's hard to talk about but I appreciate if you can share any insight between the raw denim vs. black versus the styles you've had :)

fworthin @reduce_reuse_xo Sure! My take on fit may not be very helpful because my body has changed a lot with pregnancy in the time I’ve been wearing Gamine jeans. I mostly wear the raw slim slouch style and found the higher rise and gusset of the Madame X to be really comfortable. The black denim is a bit softer. Both are 100% cotton so no stretch, but they do relax a bit with wear after every wash.

fworthin @reduce_reuse_xo So far, every pair I’ve tried has been true to size and great quality! I’m only parting with these because I prefer to wear a different size/cut now.

reduce_reuse_xo Final question! Because you owned a 29 in these too (and do you own these in blue denim?) -- did you find the sizing a true 1" difference in waist? Is the blue denim sizing same/run small/run large? I appreciate you

fworthin @reduce_reuse_xo Yep, truly a 1” difference in the waist I think. I haven’t tried the same style in multiple fabrics, so can’t make that comparison. Every pair I’ve tried has been true to the size chart- which thankfully they customize for each style 🤩 Does that help answer your question?

fworthin @shadoutmapes And FYI I just took that measurement with the jeans unworn after a wash. All the Gamine denim I’ve worn is snug after washing and stretches with wear.
