shannahh @mrsmurr My latest collages! 😃 You may recognize a certain pair of boots
Nov 24Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh Fabulous! 😂😂😂
Nov 24Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr Thank you!! I had so many photos, it was hard to narrow it down. I feel like the Bailey Bow boots are featured heavily, but that is one of the main kinds I see the most fakes of. That or the Classic Short boot

mrsmurr @shannahh what’s your thought in these? https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F302966278673 They look legit but the inside fur color is questionable. Looks like someone hand dyed them or something
Nov 24Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh I really need orange boots like I need a hole in my head😂😂😂
Nov 24Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh for sure those are the two biggest imposters listed. I like that you show cased some knock off colors. The fake blue ones are on point!
Nov 24Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr Dang it won’t let me click that link! 😬😬
Nov 24Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh might have to copy and paste it.
Nov 24Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh rats won’t let me copy and paste it on my phone either.
Nov 24Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr I have to hand it to her - that pair you just tagged me on are surprisingly good fakes! Too bad the strange wide shape in the side profile and the “made in Australia” tag are giveaways. That and the very foam-y looking sole
Nov 24Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh yep, and the color OMG! As per Poshmarks wishes I reported them as replicas.😉
Nov 24Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr The color is a giveaway too. But dang, it actually looks like a better quality material than sooo many that we have seen! The knockoff manufacturers are getting really good
Nov 24Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh that they are, even with the QR codes. Ugg may need to step up their security game.
Nov 24Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr Agreed!! The codes are clearly being faked easily and that is making people think their knockoff boots are real
Nov 24Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh for now we’ll have to keep up our crusade! 😂
Nov 24Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh OMG! This is priceless and had to share! I’m on FB and I see this lady advertising a pair of “authentic” Uggs with the notorious hang tag. I can’t comment on the post because it’s in the marketplace. I message her with a link on how to tell the fakes. She comes back and tells me she knows the boots she sells are legit. I say ok well good luck with that as it is against the law. Now here’s the kicker! She manages a consignment store! 😂😂😂😂
Nov 25Reply
heatherfsmith14
heatherfsmith14 I'm so happy you did this! I was scammed and paid $120 for camo "ugg" boots on here that were fake. I didn't know until I got them😔😥
Nov 25Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr Ooof. Sounds like a mess. I’ve seen those sort of scammers on FB too... they’ll have tons of boots but I can tell just from the boxes that they are fakes.
Nov 25Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr Oh and I have seen some of the newer UGG boot styles that do now come with a hang “tag”, for example, the waterproof ones in the classic style. But those have a nice sturdy UGG brand tag on a little metal ball chain thingy that loops on, and are definitely NOT a tag with the cheapo plastic piece sticking straight through the boot itself giving it a hole 🙄
Nov 25Reply
shannahh
shannahh @heatherfsmith14 Oh no!! 😮 Did you buy them recently and already accept the purchase? If not, you could file for a return and claim they are knockoff boots and fraudulent
Nov 25Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh oh really will be on the look out for that kind of tag. As soon I finished messaging you I heard my messenger ding for FB. It was notifying me that she deleted them from FB. Would love to take a drive to her consignment shop....😂
Nov 25Reply
crownedstone
crownedstone Damn looks like I purchased a fake pair
Nov 25Reply
shannahh
shannahh @jeanettesanc230 Hello, did you read the written description for this post and the other one? It is for educational purposes - I am not selling fake boots. I cancelled your “purchase”
Nov 25Reply
shannahh
shannahh @crownedstone Oh no! Did you buy them on here?
Nov 25Reply
crownedstone
crownedstone @shannahh yes the outside looks real but the inside looks like wool and the back tag doesn’t have the hologram that my other boots have. Although they have a great shape to them.
Nov 25Reply
shannahh
shannahh @crownedstone I don’t think the very old school UGG boots have a hologram. The fur should not look super shiny and slick feeling... it actually should have a more thick appearance because it is sheep’s wool. It is possible your boots may actually be an old pair!
Nov 25Reply
crownedstone
crownedstone @shannahh I was think that because the shape of them and the thick wool I had an older pair but have since gotten rid of them I’m not disappointed they actually look good I just would prefer if this was a honest purchase. Thank you for taking a look at them ☺️
Nov 25Reply
shannahh
shannahh @crownedstone I just looked at that listing you tagged me on — that’s a tricky one! 🧐🧐🧐That foot sole print style has not been used in a long time, and does show up in a lot of fakes, but this may indeed be an OLD authentic pair. The outside shape and coloring looks surprisingly good. The label lettering & stitching also looks pretty even. Which makes me think it might just be an old edition
Nov 25Reply
normadg
normadg Thank you!
Nov 25Reply
shannahh
shannahh @gymnastix Here are some more comparison pics if you want to tag them as well! I hate seeing people get scammed too 😬
Nov 25Reply
shannahh
shannahh @normadg You’re welcome! Hopefully this will be helpful when you are looking at UGGs to buy
Nov 25Reply
gymnastix
gymnastix thank you! So many horrible, dishonest sellers on here. wish posh would do something about it!
Nov 25Reply
shannahh
shannahh @gymnastix It is definitely aggravating. So dishonest! Could you possibly tag me on the UGG listings you were telling those buyers about? I’d love to see the boots myself! I won’t say anything on the listings themselves, just look
Nov 25Reply
gymnastix
gymnastix @carmenluvv the ugg’s you’re about to buy from that April girl aren’t real! Her ugg’s look exactly like this, report her and save your money!
Nov 25Reply
gymnastix
gymnastix @shannahh Sure, i’ll tag you right now
Nov 25Reply
shannahh
shannahh @gymnastix You’re right! Those are really fake!
Nov 25Reply
shannahh
shannahh @gymnastix Ahhhh I feel compelled to say something! Those are definitely not authentic and she is lying to so many people
Nov 25Reply
gymnastix
gymnastix that’s exactly why i’m telling her buyers! I’ve reported her as well. You should do the same!
Nov 25Reply
shannahh
shannahh @tiffc1430 This is a guide I made with good comparison. It drives me nuts seeing people get scammed like that!
Nov 25Reply
jduncan40
jduncan40 Coach purses on here you have to be careful with too. I always ask if the item is real or not
Nov 25Reply
tiffc1430
tiffc1430 @shannahh this is amazing!! Good job!!! 😄
Nov 25Reply
shannahh
shannahh @amberbarr1220 Beware of UGG scammers... if I price sounds way too good/low to be true, it very well may be! Just trying to save you from getting scammed
Nov 25Reply
shannahh
shannahh @drknluvlie Please try not to get scammed with fake UGG boots! If something sounds too good to be true and is priced too low (like those “Bailey Triple Bow” lookalikes), it probably is. And I can assure you those boots she is selling are not authentic. You can cancel your order if you are within the 3 hour time window
Nov 25Reply
jduncan40
jduncan40 Also ladies there's always a tag on the inside of UGGs that are real with a QScan just like on the box ask for a pic of the inside tags
Nov 25Reply
shannahh
shannahh @jduncan40 Very true! Sadly scammers are getting good, and there are now QR codes inside fake boots that actually make them seem real. It’s maddening
Nov 25Reply
jduncan40
jduncan40 @shannahh smh there is a couple selling fake ones on here now the fur is very different
Nov 25Reply
shannahh
shannahh @gymnastix So that user has now been totally deleted! The listing was taken down, and her entire account is gone. I wonder if more people reported it?? I took screenshots of the boots
Nov 25Reply
gymnastix
gymnastix @shannahh I’m so glad she got reported! Thanks for the help
Nov 25Reply
shannahh
shannahh @gymnastix You did all the initial warning! That was a good catch! Hopefully we were able to save some people from spending good money on bad boots
Nov 25Reply
shannahh
shannahh @jduncan40 Ohhh yes. The fake fur is so weirdly shiny/glossy looking and also sometimes the fake boots have really sparse fur (not thick and lush) like authentic fur should be. A lot of people can’t tell the difference though ☹️
Nov 25Reply
eggies42
eggies42 @shannahh quick question- can fakes come with a box? I figure if they are able to start copying the label inside they can easily make the darn box as well. Thanks for this post- I literally just "liked" a pair of fakes😠🤔
Nov 25Reply
shannahh
shannahh @eggies42 Yes, fakes can definitely come with a box. Sometimes it is a lookalike box, and other times it may even be a box from an authentic pair, but with totally non-authentic boots inside. Sellers can be tricky!
Nov 25Reply
shannahh
shannahh @sunni781 Please be aware that the black pair of lookalike “Bailey Bow Triplet” boots for $80 are just that - lookalikes. Not authentic! I hate to be the bearer of bad news but don’t want to see you get scammed
Nov 25Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mommydia That pair of black “Bailey Bow Triplet” boots are not authentic... don’t get scammed!
Nov 25Reply
shannahh
shannahh @jennsherwood52 That pair is similar to the pink pair Bailey bow pair shown here... note the overly puffy fur and single line of stitching on the D pieces (should be a double stitch), and the heel tag is poorly sewn
Nov 25Reply
jennsherwood52
jennsherwood52 @shannahh yep! Your right! Thank you so much!
Nov 25Reply
gymnastix
gymnastix hi again, thank you for all your help today! I was wondering if you could help me report @.miracleashmon. That seller blocked me from commenting and they have sold so many pairs of fake boots. I’d really appreciate it if you could report them! Thank you!
Nov 26Reply
gymnastix
gymnastix I’ve reached out to most of the people that purchased so they could get their money back, so please let’s report and get them off posh!
Nov 26Reply
shannahh
shannahh @gymnastix You’re welcome! And thank you for spotting these as well! I’ll look up that other seller and see what they’ve got 🧐🧐
Nov 26Reply
shannahh
shannahh @gymnastix You’re right —- all of those Bailey Bow “UGG”s of hers are not authentic. They have all the telltale signs of being knockoffs.... the problem is, they are pretty lovely looking (in pictures) fakes. I think people see all of that nice fluffy, overflowing sort of fur and think they are going to be getting some authentic boots
Nov 26Reply
gymnastix
gymnastix Exactly! & people aren’t doing research and they just see the lower price and buy it.
Nov 26Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mandi4615 Here are some more photos to help you! 😊
Nov 26Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh I reported her entire closet! Now it won’t let me comment. lol! SERIOUSLY! How many pairs of fake Uggs has this woman sold? Geezus! Judging by the kitchen in the back ground, quite a few.😏
Nov 26Reply
shannahh
shannahh @tiffc1430 So those pink ones surprisingly look authentic! As far as I can tell, they are good! But for that low of a price, I’m wondering what’s the catch?! That is easily a $150 pair of boots new with the box... some did look like they had stains or ink splotches maybe by the heel, so perhaps they are new with very minor defects?? They really do look great otherwise. The box is authentic, and this cards with it are correct too
Nov 26Reply
shannahh
shannahh @tiffc1430 Though maybe my eyes are crap right now with my contacts out, but one box looked like it said “K” on the label with the size 6... so maybe that pair is a kids size 6 (aka women’s 8)? I am not sure. $65 is a fantastic price though that means the seller is only getting $52 per pair which seems on the low end. Are you thinking of buying some? If I were buying some, I know I would really prefer to see the exact photos of the pair I would be buying
Nov 26Reply
tiffc1430
tiffc1430 @shannahh ok 🙂 I was just so curious about her because she has so many of the pink and the black in her closet and the pictures in the listing look like they are all different and maybe taken from other listings. The boots in all the pictures look real but I don’t think she has them in her possession. The price and how many she has just made me wonder 🤔 haha
Nov 26Reply
tiffc1430
tiffc1430 @shannahh no I’m definitely not buying from her it seems like a total scam to me 🙈 I would have to see my size and the tag for sure!
Nov 26Reply
shannahh
shannahh @tiffc1430 I just scrolled through her closet and saw all of the pairs she sold. So many of the pink and a bunch of black! The one picture with the black has a “T” on the label by the size, which made me wonder if that is a toddler size. Yet all of the boots are listed as women’s sizes. Her profile seems to only be like one day old or just as of this weekend, so I would really be curious to see if all of these people actually receive their boots as ordered!
Nov 26Reply
tiffc1430
tiffc1430 @shannahh I know right! I feel like there’s no way she is going to fulfill all these orders! She’s definitely new as of this weekend too and probably doesn’t know the buyer needs to accept the item to get your money! I hope u have a great night!
Nov 26Reply
shannahh
shannahh @471367canada I was just talking about those boots with another posher here! Omg I can’t believe she blocked you 😮! @tiffc1430 This posher commented on that post with the lady with the many pink & black UGGs expressing disbelief that the seller actually had all of them to ship (and that they were her photos), and got blocked!
Nov 26Reply
shannahh
shannahh @tiffc1430 Ahhhh I wonder if that is it. Like she is so new she does not realize the buyer must actually accept the purchase. That would put a damper on things
Nov 26Reply
tiffc1430
tiffc1430 @shannahh I knew itttt!! She’s totally scamming people 😱
Nov 26Reply
clothncacti
clothncacti @shannahh She honestly must not know because no one will ever accept those as authentic UGGs.
Nov 26Reply
tiffc1430
tiffc1430 @shannahh look at her meet the posher post and she asks someone how she gets paid haha
Nov 26Reply
shannahh
shannahh @tiffc1430 Dang now I feel bad I told you on there they look good! But the pictures alone actually do appear fine as those boots *pictured* are authentic (& possibly toddler/kid sizes). Now whether those are her own pictures of the precise boots she is selling to everyone remains to be determined 🤔. It could be like a bait and switch.... advertise good boots but then send out copycat knockoffs
Nov 26Reply
shannahh
shannahh @471367canada It makes me wonder what she really will send out! We’ll just have to check back later this week and see what the comments are saying once they start to arrive
Nov 26Reply
tiffc1430
tiffc1430 @shannahh no girl don’t feel bad!! The boots in the pictures definitely look authentic but like u said she is probably advertising those and sending out total fakes or nothing at all if she thinks she gets the money without receiving the item!
Nov 26Reply
shannahh
shannahh @tiffc1430 I just went to comment on that post to tell her that each buyer must accept the purchase but I can’t comment! She must have blocked me too! You need to go comment there and say each buyer has 3 days to inspect the purchase and then they must accept it to release the funds to her. Omg you can be the commenting hero we all neeeeeed
Nov 26Reply
tiffc1430
tiffc1430 @shannahh I did itttt!! Haha
Nov 26Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr Last comment and I swear I will leave you alone haha 😄. Look up the posher Anastociya on here .....
Nov 26Reply
shannahh
shannahh @tiffc1430 Yaaaaas! Great comment. I wonder if she will reply 🤞🏻. I’m exhausted with all of this drama haha. I’m going to be checking back on there in the morning to see what’s what hehe
Nov 26Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh girl you are fine, no worries I’m just sitting here trying to play a game but my computer is being a wank. Let me just see what kind of deception we have from this seller. I did send customer service an email on the two we dealt with today,
Nov 26Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh I’m not finding her I put in @anastociya
Nov 26Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr You will note that the boots *pictured* are authentic, but may possibly be toddler size (the black ones with the T label) or kids size (the pink listing with the K).... she has sold a LOT. A huge amount for very cheap. We were wondering if she will actually be sending out authentic boots or lookalike knockoffs. The offering of half sizes makes me wonder too... I got blocked and it appears she deleted my comment so I am just like 🤷‍♀️
Nov 26Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh oh snap! It came up tagged in our comment thread! 🤦🏼‍♀️
Nov 26Reply
shannahh
shannahh @calndrgirl Here is a helpful way to compare pictures!
Nov 26Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh I know I deleted the entire listing! WTH when I searched her it didn’t come up nor did it highlight when I typed it in the comment. I’m so sorry!🤦🏼‍♀️
Nov 26Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr I am confused now too! It appears on my end at least that every single listing is gone from her closet. So odd!! There were tons of sales! I did not think that could even be deleted since you can’t edit a sale post once it is completed. I feel like I am in the UGG Twilight Zone or something. 😮 This is what happens when I stay up way too late... I end up all sorts of confused haha
Nov 26Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh I know me too! I don’t understand how you delete a comment. It not only showed up in your closet but mine too! That’s why I just took my entire listing down. It shows 78 listing but nothing in her closet. What is that? I suggest blocking her if ya haven’t already I’m gonna.
Nov 26Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr Ohhh yes, already done. But how strange is that for so many listings to disappear?? I really wanted to know if people were going to get authentic boots like advertised and as they expected! It sounded way too good to be true! I can’t image selling a brand new pair for that low. Especially with the fee! It’s practically unheard of
Nov 26Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh I agree! I think what she may have done is deactivated her account. I had a similar situation back a couple Christmas’s ago. The seller had a classic pair black leather @60.00. I questioned her whether they were leather or suede. After looking into it I bought them and she later canceled my order. Her and I went a round and she deleted her account. She later opened another account with the same boots but more money! I lost my 💩 on her and reported her. This chick had the same MO!
Nov 26Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh alright girl I’m done for today before I fork another thing up! Again so sorry about my goof! Chat ya later.
Nov 26Reply
bperrault
bperrault Thanks for this post! Can you help me with the pair of boots on dsulliva0703 page? The treads are different and Im not sure if it's an older style or just fake.
Nov 26Reply
shannahh
shannahh @bperrault Hi! I will go take a look!
Nov 26Reply
shannahh
shannahh @bperrault Oooh wow, I see what you mean! The chocolate brown and the blackish blue pair?? They definitely do have a totally different sole imprint, and the inside tags are different. BUT, they may in fact be authentic boot, just old school UGGs. Ugg did have that kind of sole print way back when if I am not mistaken, before they switched to that large sunburst print on the bottom. And I think that is what the tags were like before the major redesign and new security features.
Nov 26Reply
bperrault
bperrault Awesome, thank you for checking! I wasn't sure if I was going crazy or not because I haven't seen those soles or tag style before!
Nov 26Reply
shannahh
shannahh @bperrault The rest of the boots actually look okay - the shape seems good, the stitching looks even, and the fur seems nice and thick and not overly shiny like fake fur. I was all up on those photos zoomed in like 🧐🧐🧐 haha. I noticed she only shows the back heel label tag in one picture (barely), but from what I can see the lettering in the word “Australia” does appear to be evenly spaced. A lot of fakes have poor spacing such as a strange gap between the letters
Nov 26Reply
shannahh
shannahh @bperrault You’re welcome! I do see those soles in a LOT of fakes, but usually there are other giveaways like the boot shape itself is wonky or overly fat at the top, or the binding is poorly sewn down. But those look okay! You could always ask her how old they are! They seem to be in fairly good condition. The sole is a bit worn, but the rest seems nice!
Nov 26Reply
bperrault
bperrault That's a good idea, I will ask how old they are! Thanks again for your help!
Nov 26Reply
kourtdickerson
kourtdickerson Is awuraposh uggs real?
Nov 27Reply
shannahh
shannahh @kourtdickerson Yes, hers are authentic! She has an amazing selection 😍
Nov 27Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh if she just had multiple pairs I would be all over them! What a steal!🤦🏼‍♀️
Nov 27Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr Looks like it hasn’t been updated in forever haha. $300 for a pair of super obvious fakes?? Insanity! Even an authentic pair of the Bailey Bow Triplet doesn’t cost that much!
Nov 27Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh but they’re broken in!😂😂😂
Nov 27Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh notice the multiple boxes in the background?
Nov 28Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr Ohhh yes. Multiple boxes, probably all fake, to be sold one at a time so as to not look suspicious.
Nov 28Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh so how shall we proceed?
Nov 28Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr Ahhh I fell asleep! 😴😴 Should we tell her those things are fake as can be? For that high of a price, it seems totally wrong to bamboozle some unsuspecting buyer! Idk if I can locate the post again though
Nov 28Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh I did go over and leave her a comment inset her “about me” section. I did later see another pair that she offered a trade on. Those however looked legit.
Nov 28Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr Weird, I found the boots but do not see your comment on her About Me thing! I really wonder if she will try to say they are authentic or somehow try to prove it
Nov 28Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh go under about then meet the posher
Nov 28Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh I did comment on the boot post about providing authenticity. Should we say something else? This seems like another one that just started an account this month to push the fake uggs. I believe once I report the item Posh blocks me from commenting
Nov 28Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr I may say something on the post later! There seems to be a huge influx this time of year with the fake Bailey Bow boots specifically. So many of the knockoffs I have seen are all in that style! I’ve seen mostly pink & black ones lately
Nov 28Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh the purple ones I just tagged you in. Take note of the posher again wanting to trade. This person is doing this on a lot of boots.....
Nov 28Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr Interesting..... 🤔. Yes, I agree that the purple pair does not appear authentic. I hadn’t noticed that posher commenting all over the place asking about trades, but then again, I usually don’t check the comments, just look at the boot pictures when scrolling around and see if they look authentic or not! I’m pretty much always on the hunt for more cute UGGs haha. Not that I even need anymore! I never even have enough time or days to wear what I do have 😆
Nov 28Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr When I see a ton of $3 sold items, it makes me wonder if the person is actually just using Posh as a way to get cheaper shipping labels for other stuff they are mailing. Because for that $3 + $6.49, you can ship up to 5 lbs for less than $10. That is usually way cheaper than the post office or any other shipping site! Or maybe that’s just how she designates traded items, idk. I know I definitely would not be trading any authentic boots on here to anyone!!
Nov 28Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh I commented about authenticity. Let’s see if I get any response. There is a tall chestnut pair I’m gonna tag you in. The fur looks off to me...your thoughts. I hear ya! Im always looking for something different! I need another pair like a hole in my head. Still looking for primary orange and a taupe colored pair.
Nov 28Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr Oof that purple pair you just tagged me on is a tricky one! The sole actually looks good and like ones I have seen on authentic boots, and the fur looks good as well. It’s nearly impossible to see the back heel tag clearly. I know they’re in plastic wrap though, but maybe that is an old authentic pair?? It’s so difficult to tell what is what 🧐🧐
Nov 28Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr Also, I got the Fluff Momma slippers recently and wouldn’t you know it — those things came in plastic bags - one for each slipper! I know a lot of fakes have the bags too though. It would be nice if she had more photos posted of the purple boots, like of the back, as well as a clear side profile
Nov 28Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh I did message Ugg and the response I got at first was it depends on the warehouse. Then I made sure she was understanding me and she stated they are not putting them in bags....I’ll have to go back and re read the transcript
Nov 28Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr You need to just get those boots! They are seriously the best looking orange pair I have ever seen on this site. The price is not bad at all considering they look to be in really nice condition. Plus you could always resell them if the color was not to your liking! They are like worlds better than the vast majority of the super old faded orange boots that are usually on here
Nov 29Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh yea I know there is another pair on here that I think is the same color but am 8. The posher hasn’t been on here for a few days so I’m holding out to see if they are the same color Hong as she too has the box
Nov 29Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr I’ve seen some that are the orange as well as some that are like an orange-ish coral. It’s a neat color! Hopefully you’re able to find what you are looking for
Nov 29Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh yes I’ve looked at both of the them but they look more coral.😏 I was looking for the longest time for the hot pink with black soles. Ended up paying too much on Me€ari then walked in my local Goodwill and found the same pair in BETTER condition for 14.99!🤦🏼‍♀️Yes I bought them and resold my other ones
Nov 29Reply
naedia01
naedia01 Thanks! Last year I bought a bad pair. They were so fake
Nov 29Reply
shannahh
shannahh @naedia01 Ugh that sucks 😬😬😬. There are so many fakes out there! It seems like more of an influx esp this time of year with people shopping for Christmas presents and everything
Nov 29Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr That super furry ankle boot is totally a style I have been wanting ever since I saw it come out! Looks sooo cozy 😍. But dang it, that is one suspicious post if I ever saw one! Why do people fall for that whole email thing?! Scam scam scam
Nov 30Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh OMG! You gotta go look at what she posted to me! Then look at her description where she talks about payment and no refunds! I am dying over here as to whether I should blow her up or just report her. I did find boots like this but not in half sizes or the pink.
Nov 30Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh rats the link is to big but go to Macy.com
Nov 30Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr Oh yes, it is a legit boot style but I didn’t think it ever came in half sizes! There are several new sellers on here with just 3-4 closet listings that are all selling either this type of boot or the slide thing that is similar... also listing it with half sizes. It just seems really odd and suspicious!
Nov 30Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh when I found them on Macy’s they were not listing half sizes. I think I’ll go get snarky and then report her. I’ll be sure to follow up with an email to Posh.
Nov 30Reply
shannahh
shannahh @sylvsies that’s what led me to make this thing, as well as a couple other collage “listings” I have in my closet here about spotting fakes 😄
Nov 30Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr I agree— Just the manner in which she is trying to sell them is totally not allowed! 😑
Nov 30Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh I poked a few cows so I’m about to get some horns go get your popcorn.😉
Nov 30Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr 😶🍿🍿🍿
Nov 30Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh 😂😂😂 snarky comments left and reported them all. We seriously need to join the next live Posh thingy and tell the owner we want legit jobs.
Nov 30Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh first horn received!
Nov 30Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh oh look she took the half sizes off her two listings, best block her.😉
Nov 30Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr Absolutely! Authentic boots ordered and then shipped to the customer’s order.... 🤔. Seems a strange way of doing business, on here especially
Nov 30Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh yea I reported her as taking transactions off site. Then blocked her! Awe she didn’t like my closet!😏😔Well maybe I’m to busy calling out you fakers to have time to post anything! It’s amazing how quickly they get defensive!
Nov 30Reply
shannahh
shannahh @danieemariee000 You can tell they are not authentic based upon the stitching around the top edge, the single line of stitching on the “D” shaped piece where the ribbons connect, the placement of the back heel label (too high up), and the look of the fur. Among other things. Some of these collages show some good examples of fake Bailey Bow boots
Nov 30Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh be sure to grab your morning caffeine and catch up on recent responses.
Nov 30Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr Ooooh this sound promising hehe
Nov 30Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr Hmm now that one seller with the 3 pink furry ankle pairs sounds more legit. Maybe she just made a mistake with listing all of the half sizes??
Nov 30Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr Hers def sounds a lot more believable than the people like at one other lady that had like 20 pairs of Bailey Bows in two different colors and was selling boots anywhere from $20-$50 per new-with-box pair. That was insanity! And then her entire account disappeared! I still wonder what happened with all of the pairs she had sold 😨. Hopefully all of those people got automatic refunds!
Nov 30Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh yes and no, did you look at her closet and the fact that she just joined? Not sure I’m believing the whole sister purchase thing. I smell passive aggressive here. Got all upset with me for questioning 1/2 sizes then follows me and shares a listing of mine.😏
Nov 30Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh oh I emailed Posh on that one with full details hopefully they take care of her. I got a response pretty swiftly from them on that one. I then found a profile selling the boots we talked about last night that was a rugged looking guy. Yea he’s selling fluffy pink Ugg boots. I’m starting to trust no one with multiple pairs and new accounts. Was there s train wreck of fake Uggs somewhere that Poshmark is not infiltrated with them!😂
Nov 30Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr It’s definitely hard to tell! Lots of new sellers on here, but also lots of new people that come on with a huge influx of questionable boots to sell off as quickly as possible. I was just talking with another seller who has a fake pair of Bailey Bows that she says she got from that website 6PM... oddly enough the box looks legit! But the boots have the telltale signs of being knockoffs (stitching around top edge, single stitch row on D pieces, etc)
Nov 30Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh oh and after I comment that authentic Ugg footwear does not come in half sizes for this style they quickly correct the listing. SMDH
Nov 30Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh did she get them on here?
Nov 30Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr No, she says she got them on another site (the 6PM one) - I have never bought anything from there so I don’t know how they source their items or what exactly. But the boots themselves just do not look authentic. I don’t want her to think we are ganging up on her or anything, but I may tag you on that listing so you can see what I mean about the boots looking iffy, but the box looking fine!
Nov 30Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh yea I’m gonna go with knock offs. Look at the fabric of the bow, it’s not smooth like true uggs. The top of the back tag, there doesn’t seem to be enough space between the top and the lettering. The stitching on the top and the actual proportion of the boot in the front looks off to me. If she has another pair of Uggs she could compare providing those are legit.
Nov 30Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr I agree! The proportions all just look really off. And the placement and spacing of the bows seems like they are really smushed together. That sucks to pay almost $100 on that site which is known for its discounts but then end up with something completely inauthentic
Nov 30Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr Soooo of course the seller with like 6 sizes (and who knows how many available in each size) of fake pink “Bailey Bow” boots blocked me after you tagged me on the post and I said they were clearly not authentic. She must seriously think her buyers are stupid. $100 for shoddy fakes?? Crazy!
Dec 01Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh oh hers how I’m handling these chickens. I leave my comments then I immediately report them for either replicas or taking the transaction off Poshmark. They wanna block me ho ahead but I’m sure gonna report them before they do! Funny thing I got a request from Poshmark last night to help them verify authenticity on some other items that people reported. None of them Uggs though lol.
Dec 01Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr Omg! That is pretty neat they asked you to verify authenticity on reported items! But dang, why couldn’t it be UGGs??! Haha I know Uggs are about the only think I would feel fairly confident about verifying, that and maybe North Face coats (you’d be surprised at the fakes of those too!). I also reported that listing for the pink boots. Such a scam!
Dec 01Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh yea I can’t post on her any longer either not sure if she blocked me or if it has to do with me reporting her. Either way I have screen shots of all the likers to message later. Yes wish it would of been uggs but it gives you a choice to agree disagree or not sure. Some of the items I had no clue.
Dec 01Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh I’m currently wrapped up in a mess with a seller on here who reported the purse she sold me was leather. Got it today and it’s as stiff as a plastic bucket! It’s marked as a Clark’s purse and I have a few that I have bought directly from their factory store and this is no where close to those. The thing has a crack in the seam on the bottom, the lining is dirty and she tells me it’s brand new after I file a claim. If it’s leather why is it cracked.
Dec 01Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr Oof. That does not sound like leather at all! At least nothing like quality leather. If she listed it and sold it as new and it arrived to you like a hot mess, you should have no problem at all getting a refund!
Dec 01Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh in her original post she didn’t say new but when I put a claim in she said it was new. So I posted photos of all the crumbs and dirt inside the purse along with the cracked seam on the bottom of the purse. This thing has a stamped pattern to it that is to much like synthetic. I hope Poshmark takes a good hard look at this one. Do not worth my 23.00 plus shipping.
Dec 01Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh I’m gonna tag you on a pair of uggs. They have a Vick’s vapor rub stain on them that is coming up on a year. Love the color, I think I can get it out but not willing to pay 59 bucks. Your thoughts
Dec 01Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr That may come out with Ugg cleaner! I had pretty good luck cleaning several pairs of my own boots, but I never specifically cleaned Vick’s Vapor rub though.... the boots look really nice otherwise! That’s not a bad price at all for boots worn just once
Dec 01Reply
shannahh
shannahh @rayagodfrey It is hard to tell sometimes with pictures... I look for things like uneven stitching, cheap looking binding, stitches along the top edges, crooked or misplaced/mis-sized heel labels, and the fur (overly shiny or super poofy fake looking = no bueno haha)
Dec 01Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh yep it’s a good price I have spilled oil on a pair of uggs and they tell you to put flour or cornstarch on it and let it sit over night which I’ve done with success. I’m wary because it’s coming up on a year that the stain occurred and I’m not sure how good it will come out
Dec 01Reply
shannahh
shannahh @livnoel Here’s a handy photo guide to spotting fakes 😃. Pay close attention to the Bailey Bow boots in particular. I also have two more informational UGG photo guides if you scroll down a bit in my closet here
Dec 02Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr Did you see that seller’s comment where she lists all of the various other colors she has for sale?? Black, grey, “coffee”, pink, and “yellow”... so much fakery! Gah! I feel validated that I saved 3-4 people from getting bamboozled out of $80 though
Dec 02Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh oh my lawd! Yellow!? Seriously you did save some people holiday cash! Are you reporting these as you find them?
Dec 02Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr I blocked her before she could block me (I am surprised you were able to get more than one comment in on there), so idk if it will let me report it now. But I am going to try!
Dec 02Reply
shannahh
shannahh @angiescloset345 Here are a bunch of photo examples to help you spot the differences between authentic boots and knockoffs. I also have two more such example UGG photo montage “listings” if you scroll down a bit in my closet 😊
Dec 02Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr Hmm so that Gita Mini bow pair looks legit! At least based upon the photo and box.... Are you thinking it is suspicious due to the number of sizes available? I did think it was a toddler boot at first glance though haha
Dec 02Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh yes but wasn’t even thinking about the possibility of it being toddler, I’m about fried so I best put the phone down and go to bed! Until we crusade again tomorrow! 😂😂😉
Dec 02Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr another day, another crusade 😆 Good night!!
Dec 02Reply
shannahh
shannahh @kitasellers Here is a little photo comparison guide I made of how to spot differences in authentic vs fake UGGs. If you scroll down a bit in my closet here, I have two more photo guide “listings”. Lots of good examples! And I have way more screenshots that I still have not posted. I keep coming across so many fakes
Dec 02Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh we need sheep skin lined capes with Ugg on it in gold! Night night girl! Sweet dreams!😴
Dec 02Reply
kitasellers
kitasellers @shannahh thank you so much! I actually had started following you and viewed this post before responding on the one I tagged you in! 😂 When I say I got nervous, I got Ner-Vis! 🙃 You and your teammate are awesome & should be hired as Posh Authenticity Ambassadors! 🤗
Dec 02Reply
shannahh
shannahh @kitasellers Ohhh haha, well yay! I am glad you saw this! 😃 But I can see how that might put you on edge about your other purchase.. it’s hard to know who to trust! That other seller you bought from has thousands of followers and many many listings & sales. Definitely better than some fly-by-night brand new Posh seller who comes on and offers a lot of new boots for less than half of the retail price!
Dec 02Reply
ajah8888
ajah8888 GM, I wanted to thank you for looking out, and yes I won’t be buying that merchandise, I love a honest person, you kno people work so hard, and the to just jump at the chance to truly buy something that’s original & when you get they are fakes, it’s a dam shame, I was buying them for daughter for a Christmas present, So thank you very much, I truly appreciate it,🙌🏼✅✅✅✅✅😉
Dec 02Reply
shannahh
shannahh @ajah8888 Awwwa thank you! I’m glad I was able to help. I hate seeing people throw money away on fake boots expecting them to be authentic! There are a lot of shady sellers on here this time of year, and it sucks for the people who are just trying to buy nice Christmas presents, and have no idea they are about to get tricked. If you ever would like a second opinion on a pair of Uggs you are looking at, feel free to tag me on the listing!
Dec 02Reply
ajah8888
ajah8888 I will, Thank you so much😉😀

92ford17 What is this it says u want be getting ugg's for 3$ what do u get tben
Dec 02Reply
shannahh
shannahh @92ford17 Hi! did you read the description? It is an educational and informational post to show you what specific features to look out for and be aware of when shopping online for UGGs. That way you hopefully do not get tricked into buying a knockoff pair! If you ever need a second opinion on boots you are considering buying, feel free to tag me on the listing and I can let you know if they appear authentic or not 😃
Dec 02Reply
shannahh
shannahh @alrandall610 And my most recent one that I just made last week. I already have more than enough screenshots of fakery to make a whole new post haha 😆
Dec 02Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr Omg if you do not buy that Patten/Maylin whatever it is furry exterior boot, I may do it! That is one hell of a good price on that kind of boot! 😮 I actually have 4 pairs of it (black, two different chestnuts, and the leather), and love them. This looks like the leather Maylin with grey or maybe brown fur
Dec 04Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr Seriously, GREAT price on those. Finding that style for $35 is practically unheard of. I was like 😶😯😲😵 when I saw it
Dec 04Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh yes I was like really 35.00 then I looked in her closet and saw she had a ton of designer stuff cheap, north face, lulumon ect. Had good reviews but again had scrolled through and saw similar pairs but not that color. So I asked my expert! The pink ones are cute the half size through me off. I got three shades of pink so I’m good.🤪
Dec 04Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh oh and I did get a refund on that red purse.
Dec 04Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr I didn’t look through the rest of her closet, just the boots. I hope you will love them! But in the rare case you do not, you know where to find me 😉. I almost just outright bought them, but then I realized you probably were thinking about getting them yourself and wanted a second opinion haha. That pink pair is the newer style, which does come in half-sizes. The chestnut pair I have with the “Classic Cuff” has that same kind of sole. I actually really love half sizes!
Dec 04Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr And YAY for getting your much deserved refund on the purse! I had a feeling you had a great case on it
Dec 04Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh I was up making sure my son got out the door for work at 4 and saw these. I was gonna snag them then but didn’t wanna impulse buy. Thought if they were still here when I woke up again I would jump on them. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and like I said if I don’t like them....
Dec 04Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh yes I was very pleased! Won’t be in her closet anymore!
Dec 04Reply
shannahh
shannahh @kguinnane Yep, that’s a good tip of to knowing if a pair is fake! I also like to look at the D pieces where the ribbons attach - soooo many fakes only have a single line of stitching there (should be 2), and also the bow quality also will look odd on a lot of the knockoffs. I love the Bailey Bow style too! I hate seeing people get taken advantage of by scammers trying to sell them fake boots for $150 😡
Dec 04Reply
bbwagner
bbwagner @shannahh can I tag you in a few posts to see if they are authentic 😬😬
Dec 05Reply
shannahh
shannahh @bbwagner Sure! I’ll take a look 🧐
Dec 05Reply
shannahh
shannahh @bbwagner That grey pair of tall Bailey Button Triplet boots was tricky.... the picture quality has like a weird, hazy blurriness to it, which makes it hard to see all of the details. I wish that seller had better/more clear photos!
Dec 05Reply
shannahh
shannahh @bbwagner That Golden Ugg seller seems pretty reputable with authentic boots! That pair is a lot easier to view and see all of the details
Dec 05Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh remember a couple weeks back we saw a pair of pink fluffy uggs the girl said she bought for her and her sister and they were duplicates. Well go back over to her page and read her comments again, she was the one that listed half sizes and I called her out on it. I think she’s very fishy, your thoughts.
Dec 07Reply
bbwagner
bbwagner @shannahh THANK YOU!! The ones you said were tricky, is that the post where the boots are in a chair? I can’t remember how many listings I tagged you in🤦🏻‍♀️
Dec 07Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr I’ll see if I can find it! I think I had actually “liked” a different pair of so-called Uggs she had for sale, which now I realize are a *completely different* brand of “UGG” style boots... I think that other brand is like AXA Australia Uggs or something along those lines. At the time I had remarked that I had never seen a pair of this brand of UGG boots have that sort of different logo, box, heel tag, and all that. I’ll have to check out her pink fluffy ones!
Dec 07Reply
shannahh
shannahh @bbwagner Hi! So they tricky ones were on a chair and had really poor/blurry/hazy image quality, and the ones I knew were definitely legit were being sold by the Golden Ugg seller. It is possible that pair on the chair are also okay, it was just really hard to see all of the details due to the photo quality
Dec 07Reply
bbwagner
bbwagner @shannahh you’re the best😘 Also, there is a new brand of “UGG” called Koolaburra by UGG that I’m sure people are trying to sell off as UGG. You may already know that so please disregard if you do lol.
Dec 07Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh she has them listed twice in her closet along with two grey pairs with metal bows and Ugg plates. Posted several pairs and half sizes. Cried that she was treated poorly. Read all the comments under the boot listing, her story doesn’t add up. Then she list multiple sneakers....
Dec 07Reply
shannahh
shannahh @bbwagner Oh yes 😊 Koolaburra is their lower-cost “discount” line of boots, which I think I have seen sold in stores like Kohl’s, as well as my grocery store (Kroger) actually also had some Koolaburras for sale. When people list those boots as “UGG” it is definitely misleading, because the materials and quality are different
Dec 07Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr Yep, I am pretty sure now that the metal plate pair with the bows is a totally different brand of “Ugg style” boots - if you look up close at the label and the box it is different. I have since then come across other AXA Australia Uggs elsewhere. Ugg is just like a generic term for that style of boot in Australia... but still, to list them as this type of “UGG” like we know does seem misleading
Dec 07Reply
bbwagner
bbwagner Girl your Kroger sells boots?! My Kroger needs to step up its game then
Dec 07Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh I just feel she’s not trust worthy. First she had half sizes, then took it down when she was questioned. Then the sister multiple purchase story. In one of the comments s buyer ask about color and she states she’s getting more in. I smell a rat on this one. They maybe the legit other Uggs but I’m questioning her honesty, something I don’t like about this one
Dec 07Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr Check out the listing with the silver boots with the blingy bows, then look up the website AXAustralia... that’s the logo. I commented on that listing too because I was so confused, but now I have seen more of the other brand for sale
Dec 07Reply
shannahh
shannahh @bbwagner Haha! It’s one of those big Kroger Marketplace ones that also sells clothes and shoes. Or in this case, Koolaburra by Ugg boots. Not the more $$$ UGG brand ones though!
Dec 07Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh yes, I see what your saying but still find her on the deceptive side. Just my opinion 🤷🏼‍♀️
Dec 07Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh dang blocked and I didn’t even get a snarky comment in. That’s ok I reported them.
Dec 08Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr Oh no! On that one I just tagged you on? I didn’t even say anything about them being totally fake either!
Dec 08Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh yep, go try and comment and see if you’re blocked
Dec 08Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr She blocked me too. Sign of a true scammer. Someone is going to get suckered into buying those fake boots and be really disappointed ☹️
Dec 08Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh I have to wonder if any of her closet is legit! There’s a Fendi and Louie bag! Ya know what I think I’ll just got back and report her, not just her fake Uggs!
Dec 08Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh got a new “sticker” for you to look at over on me€ari look up seller dino_2332. The binding/trim looks darker then norm. Box seems legit but that sticker
Dec 09Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr Dang I can’t figure out how to look up by username!
Dec 09Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh let me see if I can figure it out
Dec 09Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh rats can’t look up sellers. I found them under an Ugg size 8 this guys has gray (2 boxes) and tan (3 boxes) posted 10 days ago
Dec 09Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr Found it! That is a strange one! The stickers on the boxes seem to say classic “mini” but the style is not a mini, it is the classic short. 🤔🤔 The heel label on the boots does look like the new style they have with only the word UGG and not Australia
Dec 09Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr It also says “sales sample” on one of the stickers on the sole.... hmmm
Dec 09Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh yea I thought so too and he recently joined, notice it’s a guy.....yes he legitimately has 5 pairs of Uggs😂😂😂😂
Dec 09Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr That definitely raises some red flags!
Dec 09Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh yep sketchy for sure. I’ll need to find out how to report on that app
Dec 09Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh thanks for the validation
Dec 09Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh OMG! I got those 35.00 boots today! Girl thanks for talking me into buying these! So stinkin cute. Slight scratch on the one boots toe area but with some leather balm I think it will be next to undetected.😊
Dec 09Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr I’m glad you love them! That was one hell of a deal! If you didn’t buy them, I would have bought them myself haha. It’s such a great style! I recently bought a pair on here with badly scuffed and worn down toes... I took them to a shoe repair shop, and $20 later they look practically new! Hopefully you can get your toe part looking great again too! Especially if it is just a more minor thing
Dec 09Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh it is, I have been finding Ugg products at Ross Department stores lately. They had an Ugg leather balm for 3.99 do I grabbed it for a pair of blue leather ones that I bought in here. I knew they were snow damaged so I did my research before I bought them. Took them to the shoe repair and he couldn’t do much with them. This stuff turned those boot around! Amazing
Dec 09Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh does this style not have a QR tag?
Dec 09Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr The Patten & Maylin styles are a bit older I think so they may not have a QR code. They are definitely legit though! And that is awesome you were able to totally fix up a pair of blue boots! I have had mixed success cleaning colored ones (blue, black, red) with the UGG brand cleaning products... it usually results in a bit of fading, but does clean them up and reduce stains and snow damage!
Dec 09Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr But leather seems like it would clean up better than the sheepskin colored boots... it was that sheepskin type that I was trying to clean which resulted in some fading
Dec 09Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh true, true. The suede is a different beast to clean. I find if you address the stain immediately you have a better chance at resolving it. I’m such a freak about mine I literally will not wear them if the weather is questionable. I usually do something stupid to them within my own home.🤪
Dec 09Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr Same here!! If there is a chance of rain or anything crappy weather-wise, I will not wear mine out. I really just need to suck it up and buy a waterproof pair, but those are all pretty $$$
Dec 09Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh remember the pink bailey bows I tagged you in a few days ago where she had multiple pairs and she said she had a shoe store. Go read her recent responses to me. She states they’re in Coatesville which she spelled wrong and that it’s 2 hours from York. WRONG! Coatesville is 1 hour if that. I thought something was funny about this one before and I’m still thinking she’s sketchy. Your thoughts
Dec 10Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @ugg advice, if a seller sold a pair previously at 45.00 and the sale fell through and she reposted them at 55.00 is it unfair to offer 45.00?
Dec 12Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr It doesn’t hurt to offer! Are you sure she didn’t cancel the sale because she wanted to get a little more for them? Someone did this to me with a pair of sequined sparkle UGG boots last winter... all over a $10 difference 😑
Dec 12Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh I’m not certain, somethings a wee bit off on this one. She posted them, I asked for more pics then scrolled through her closet and saw they were posted before. Saw the pics I wanted and thought yea they might come around with some leather balm. Go back and she has them reserved, note no one asked her to hold them.
Dec 12Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh So I commented that I was interested in purchasing if they came off reserve. Few minutes later they’re back up for sale. So I put my offer in, she sees it and nothing. Might I add she’s an ambassador....🧐
Dec 12Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr As far as I know, the only way that yellow “reserved” banner thing comes on is if a customer is in the middle of checking out. It gives them like 10 min to put in all of their payment info and all that. So maybe someone was checking out and then changed their mind??

mrsmurr @shannahh hmmm did not know that, good to know. Check the old listing out 365dayzhair and see what you think, on the fence on the coloring
Dec 12Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr I found her listing and saw the other boots that sold... the coloring, shape, and everything seems okay. I think the lighting in some of the pictures is crappy so maybe that is affecting the color. I do wonder about why that purchase was cancelled or otherwise didn’t go through!
Dec 12Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh yea I’m on the fence, not needing them but do like the leathers for questionable weather days. Just saw a different pair I’ll tag ya in not sure which one I like better. You can be my fashion consultant today.😂
Dec 12Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr Oooh that second pair is really cute! I like the lace up style - maybe you could make an offer on that one and see if you can get a price more similar to the first pair
Dec 12Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh yea they are cute, little more dressy
Dec 12Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr That’s definitely an interesting seller with those furry mini boots! She says she is a consignor with a ~7 day or whatever it was time for the orders to come in.... seems a bit odd. And the prices are higher than on the UGG site itself, aren’t they? 🧐
Dec 15Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh did you look in her closet? Do you think s report is due? Did you see that bama wholesale took those boots down then reposted and blocked me? 😂
Dec 15Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr I scrolled through a bit.. I’m going to look some more. I need to check out the Bama one too!
Dec 15Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr Oh wow, Bama wholesale is fake fake fake. I’m apparently already blocked. I reported all of those. How funny that he says hecklers will be reported and blocked, but the commenters are all just telling the truth and calling these out for the fakes that they are

uniquelyloved30
uniquelyloved30 @shannahh I’m going to tag you in a few boots I think look shady! You ca reply here on your post and let me know. Thank you
Dec 24Reply
shannahh
shannahh @uniquelyloved30 Hi! So those “romantic flower” Ugg boots really do look strange. I have never seen authentic boots come with size # stickers on the back heel like those are showing... also the label on the box does not appear to be an authentic UGG label (unless it is reeeeally old - I am not as familiar with the old school styles). The labels normally have a totally different format, font, and writing style, as well as a shaded color band across the top of the barcode.
Dec 24Reply
shannahh
shannahh @uniquelyloved30 I would also be suspicious the seller does not have pictures of the actual boots for those flower print ones. Usually that will be a giveaway as well!
Dec 24Reply
shannahh
shannahh @uniquelyloved30 Okay so those metallic silver ones also appear to be fake fake fake! Look at how poorly spaced the sole imprint is. The two soles do not even match up. The tops and bottoms of the sole print are very wide. Not to mention, the material of the sole looks weird and foam-y, and the placement of the back heel tag labels is way too high up. The inside tag also looks funky to me. I would avoid those if I were you.... the seller is either clueless or trying to deceive
Dec 24Reply
uniquelyloved30
uniquelyloved30 @shannahh thank you!!!! That’s exactly what I thought! I’m like why is the tag so high! Lol and the shape from the side is off along with the sole print not matching! They just don’t look like good quality!! I always love a second opinion! Thank so much for taking the time!😊 happy holidays!
Dec 24Reply
shannahh
shannahh @uniquelyloved30 Yes, those heel tags are supposed to be lower down. And you are right about the shape - the toe part looked weirdly rounded to me. Also if you look on the soles of the metallic boots, the word Australia under the UGG in the center all looks like a weird muddled, unclear mess. Even when authentic boots wear down from normal walking and such, they don’t end up looking like that! It annoys me when people say stuff is definitely authentic when it clearly is NOT 😬

shannahh
shannahh @cbadeen Here are more comparison collages I made! The Bailey Bow boots are VERY frequently faked on here (tons of knockoffs were being sold right before Christmas 😠), and we also see a lot of fake Bailey Buttons and classic boots of varying height.
Jan 05Reply
cbadeen
cbadeen @shannahh sweet! Thank you this makes it easier to see them side by side. It’s quite obvious now! Lol the fakes bows are sloppy and floppy and too big.
Jan 05Reply
shannahh
shannahh @cbadeen Exactly! And you can see some other colors of fake Bailey Bow boots similar to the pair you have and how they have that line of stitching around the edges. That is typically a fast giveaway to boots being knockoffs, and one of the first things I look for (along with the D pieces and their stitching)
Jan 05Reply
shannahh
shannahh @kkrinke Hello! Just FYI — this is an informational posting composed of photo collages of boots that were selling/sold by others to show people what NOT to buy - aka some specific things to look out for with UGGs, so that you can be a discerning buyer and know what is good and what’s sketchy and should be avoided. Hopefully it is helpful! 😃

shannahh @laurtias Here is a guide I made about how to spot fake UGG boots with photo examples. I also have two more posts that I can tag you on if you feel like taking a look. It can be helpful info to have when shopping online for boots, especially on this site! 😃

redinsc Hi! I'm at work and can't read all the comments on here, but is there a way you can give me the scammers addresses? I want a pair of Ugg's, my first pair, and I certainly want to make sure they're real! Thanks!
Jan 15Reply
shannahh
shannahh @redinsc Hey so actually there are many many scammers. All of the boots shown in the photos were screenshots taken from various listings. The sellers themselves in many cases actually had no idea their boots were fake! Some sellers did seem to know they were selling knockoffs and did not care (aka purposely out to deceive the buyer). I do not know have any specific addresses.

Jan 15Reply

shannahh @redinsc You are correct! That pair of mini Bailey Bow glam boots is authentic and super cute! I’ve owned that style before and it looks lovely with leggings
Jan 15Reply
redinsc
redinsc @shannahh I must have them!!!!!! I blew my PM budget WAY out of the water last week, I was BAD, so I have to wait until payday, but they're too cute to pass up! They sure are expensive! I wasn't expecting quite THAT much, but like I always say, when you pay peanuts, you get a monkey!!!
Jan 15Reply
shannahh
shannahh @redinsc I wonder if you could offer a bit less on them. You may be able to find a similar pair for cheaper but probably not brand new with box and in perfect condition... I’ll keep an eye out too and tag you if I see any other pairs for less on here! You need a size 9, right?
Jan 15Reply
redinsc
redinsc Yes ma'am!! I saw a white pair of Bearclaw, Bearpaw, something like that, and they're really cute too. The only thing is that I live in SC and we don't get much of a winter here, maybe 1 cold month, and the white ones come up to my knees and I'll be DYING!! LOL!

lonniemaldon858
lonniemaldon858 @shannahh hello: I bought two pairs of uggs from the site, one pair I love and I believe they are real and the pair I am still in window to cancel are olive green Bailey I think I tagged you, I am not sure the seller even knows since she claims a reposh, but the shafts are a different material than the foot area? And the soles on my others are smooth and these are a different texture. The color is gorgeous but they are just off. Please let me know your opinion
Feb 02Reply
lonniemaldon858
lonniemaldon858 @shannahh’s i am loving uggs and want a few colors that are real - thank you for checking in on this for me, I had no idea the amount of fake uggs and the baileys are my favorite
Feb 02Reply
shannahh
shannahh @lonniemaldon858 There can be differences in the feel of the soles depending upon how much they are worn. Some soles do feel more smooth from the get-go, while others have a bit more of a textured look & feel to them. What you definitely don’t want is a sole that looks like cheap foamy rubber like on a cheap pair of flip flop sandals
Feb 02Reply
dremaquinn
dremaquinn I just bought these, and they smell like cigarette smoke covered up with febreeze. Disgusting. Poshmark wouldn’t return them but gave me a $15 credit. I am just curious if you think they’re real, AND if you know how to get the smell out since I have to keep them now 🙄? https://posh.mk/Ms41mZ1SZT
Feb 03Reply
shannahh
shannahh @dremaquinn Hi! So it won’t let me click on that link to see the original listing - are you able to tag me on it so I can take a look? That sucks the seller sold you smoke-y boots and wouldn’t let you get a return 😬. I cannot stand the smell of smoke! Eeeew
Feb 03Reply
dremaquinn
dremaquinn @shannahh thanks so much!! Tagged!
Feb 03Reply
shannahh
shannahh @dremaquinn Those are authentic! So yay for that at least There may be some good tips online about getting a smoke smell out of suede, but I have heard about using baking soda. I’m not sure though of the whole process.... like maybe you dust them in baking soda (which is meant to absorb odors), then vacuum it all off ??
Feb 03Reply
dremaquinn
dremaquinn @shannahh thank you for verifying! I’m thinking I have nothing to lose, so I’m going to wash them! The suede is really stiff anyway! I would never let my kid put these on her feet. So so gross! You are awesome! Thank you!!
Feb 03Reply
shannahh
shannahh @dremaquinn Washing may help! Just don’t put them in the dryer — I’ve heard that can really mess them up. Good luck! I agree - way too gross as they are with the smell to even think about putting them on your child 😷

mmarotte07 Lol omg girl I cannot believe how many ppl bought your listings !! I’m dead 😂😂😂 like do they not read when purchasing ?!!
Feb 04Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mmarotte07 Reading comprehension is so necessary, isn’t it..... haha 😆. But yes, I think people tend to buy first and ask questions later. I am not sure what sort of quality of boots could even be expected to be attained for $3.00 though!
Feb 04Reply
shannahh
shannahh @haljopetta Hi! Those “Bailey Bows” do not seem legit whatsoever. I can see the seller is getting defensive.... but you can always take screenshots of the photos and chat in to UGG on their website and ask them directly if they are authentic or not. They may be old, but UGG would not sell boots with such sloppy labels
Feb 04Reply
stierwalt444
stierwalt444 How much are the fakes???? I'd almost rather have them for 1/4 of the price and honestly , ain't nobody going to know the difference unless you got down there with a magnifying glass and looked for signs they are fake lol... where can I purchase these NEW Imitation boots????? 😀😎😃😉
Feb 06Reply
shannahh
shannahh @stierwalt444 Oh noooo, I am not selling fakes. It is against the terms of service of this site. These are all photos of knockoff boots being sold by others. This post is meant to help education and inform people so that they are not taken advantage of and scammed by being sold fake Uggs. These are all photo examples to help show the differences between authentic boots and knockoffs, so you know what specific features to look out for and NOT buy
Feb 06Reply
nicolelelle96
nicolelelle96 What about the knitted ones can you tell if those are fake or not? The labels are different then any uggs I've ever seen.
Feb 11Reply
shannahh
shannahh @nicolelelle96 Hi! The sweater knit ones can be a lot trickier to tell just from looking at photos. I have only owned two knit pairs myself, so I don’t have as much experience as those versus many of the other styles. You are right about the labels looking different with that style - it can be tricky to tell real versus fake because sometimes it comes down to something tiny such as the heel label dimensions, or the feel of the knit, or the buttons. Is your pair on here?

leighnajohnson
leighnajohnson I have spent the last hour reading these comments- the thing is your trying to act like your being helpful when in reality your doing this to send people to your page to buy boots. It’s almost a form of bullying. Lots of people on here purchases things second hand. So some of these people will believe the item is real and unknowingly list a fake- if your intent was genuine- you would kindly tag them on their MTP and tell them what you think-
Feb 18Reply
leighnajohnson
leighnajohnson Not blast them on the item in the chance you may be wrong- not everyone is a thief and some just doesn’t know. Considering how long you have been here- I’m surprised you don’t know the rules- if you see a fake item REPORT it- even tag them here so they can see this thread. That’s how you help them! That’s genuine concern
Feb 18Reply
leighnajohnson
leighnajohnson Commenting on people’s listings is against the rules- the way you approached me was against the rules. If you thought my item was fake you could have tagged me here- we could have discussed it and if I learned it to be fake- I would have removed it, I’ve spent the last hour thanks to your remark in designer group making sure all of my boots are real. And they are. I’ve been in this game way to long and don’t need help. But thank you
Feb 18Reply
shannahh
shannahh @leighnajohnson None of these boots here are for sale though or owned by me personally though. They are all just photo examples. The best way to highlight what specific features to look out for is to see a wide variety of knockoffs and start to recognize patterns. I am not trying to bully anyone. Never would! I am truly sorry if you felt like my comment to you was mean. Many people do not realize their boots are not authentic.
Feb 18Reply
shannahh
shannahh @leighnajohnson Did you believe that pair of yours to be authentic? I do not try to direct people to my page to buy from me instead of other sellers such as yourself. Like I said, there are thousands of listings for people to shop from. We have completely different boots, different sizes, different styles. It would not help me any to have someone who is looking for example for a size 10 black Bailey Button to see a boot I have that may be a size 8 peach sandal. That would not make sense
Feb 18Reply
shannahh
shannahh @leighnajohnson Hi, I fell asleep and apparently missed a comment. What did you end up determining about that Bailey Button—esqe pair? I would have happily saved you time from scouting designer groups for info.. like I said initially, your other UGG pairs appeared fine/authentic!

crzychickenlady Hi there. I recently tagged you in 2 listings. I have such a hard time telling if boots are authentic. Would you be so kind to take a peek. One of the pairs I already purchased but I’m just not sure after putting them on. They look great but feel a little different than my other pairs
Mar 17Reply
shannahh
shannahh @kristengallis Hi! I will take a look at the boots!
Mar 17Reply
shannahh
shannahh @kristengallis From what I can tell, both pairs seem to be authentic 😊
Mar 17Reply
shannahh
shannahh @kristengallis Is it the periwinkle pair that feels different? What feels different about it — Like the size or fur or exterior? It seems to be okay just based upon photos of the outside, but you could always try googling the numbers on that one tag behind the hologram to see what you come up with The SN 5825 from the one main tag does correspond to the Classic Short style which is what those look like, but I know tags can be easily faked
Mar 17Reply
crzychickenlady
crzychickenlady @shannahh yes the blue ones. the footbed doesn’t feel as plush. Not a huge difference but it’s slight. Also the heel is slightly different in color but that’s ok right? Thanks so much for all your help
Mar 17Reply
shannahh
shannahh @kristengallis It can vary depending upon the country they are made in, how old they are, how worn down/flattened the footbed is, etc. I sent that listing to a friend of mine who is really good about helping authenticate UGGs, and she said she owns that same pair

fashionmomiim3 Hi there I tagged you to a post I just purchased. They look authentic to me other than some threads are coming undone and sole is thinner than my 10yr old heavily used UGG boots. Maybe the craftsmanship has changed from 10yrs ago 🤷 Hopefully you can help me out. Thank you!
Sep 04Reply
shannahh
shannahh @fashionmomiim3 Those look really odd to me. Like the fur is fake and strange looking, the top binding does not seem right, and the back heel label also looks odd. shannahh
shannahh @bonsterb3 Hi! If you would like to make a listing in your closet with pictures of the boots (but mark it as not for sale), I can take a look! Just tag me on the listing itself. Plastic bags can indicate fake boots, as well as a funky chemical smell

shannahh @mrsmurr Whoa, that Bailey Button looking chestnut pair you tagged me on is a tricky one! I wonder about them coming in a plastic bag ... Some other things look odd on it too, like the leather at the edge near the ankle part appears to be roughly/unevenly cut in some spots. And it is hard to fully see the stitches on the D piece to see if there are two full rows the whole way around 🧐 But then some of the other features seem okay! It’s definitely a strange pair 😶
Nov 06Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh I thought the same also.🤔 Oh and the posher we spoke of the other day that gave me the “nice” suggestion if what I could do, closet is empty but says she has 7 listings. She listed more replicas yesterday morning.😂
Nov 06Reply

shannahh @mrsmurr Yikes 😬😬😬. I wonder if the one buyer was able to cancel her order of the fake fluff boots? Hopefully so!
Nov 06Reply
mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh she tried going through the seller but got crickets. Somehow that particular sold listing was deleted. Not sure if Poshmark took it down or the seller did. The buyer did send Poshmark an email. This chic sounds as sketchy as the chic that I bought black leather uggs from. Remember that one?
Nov 06Reply

mrsmurr
mrsmurr @shannahh what do you think of the shape of the leg part of the boot? Seems wide at the top to me.🤔
Nov 11Reply
shannahh
shannahh @mrsmurr I noticed that too! It does seem really wide through the shaft part, but I wonder if it is just flattened out a bit. If you look at the picture looking straight down on it into the boots, it seems like it may just need to be reshaped to get that rounded look again. Definitely an interesting pair!

shannahh @may10mng Hi! I am not selling these boots — as it says in the description this is like a how-to photo guide for shopping online for UGGs and making sure you get an authentic pair 😃. In my opinion UGG classic type boots seem to run larger... for example I am usually a 7.5 or 8 in normal shoes but could do a 7 in the classic UGG boots. Sizing does vary depending upon the style though! Some are true to size or even a bit smaller

shannahh @runawayal Hi, it won’t ever let me copy and paste links on here or even open links, but I searched the words from the link and saw a size 11 light blue pair that sold for $40 or so... was that it? Those are definitely an older pair but they do look like the may be authentic. The old ones can be trickier to discern from photos, but the fur looks good and the overall shape seems correct. 😊
Nov 18Reply
runawayal
runawayal @shannahh yes that was it, $40., size 11, and i've looked at the pics of not ugg boots and of ugg boots and i think these are legit there's a funny feel where they've been worn in such a way as to create an annoying crease on one heel, but i don't think that's the boot's fault

Nov 23Reply
shannahh
shannahh @cjp402 Hi! You could tag me on the original listing and I could tell you here how it looks.... or you could take pics of your boots and post to your closet as a “not for sale” post and tag me on it there
Nov 23Reply
cjp402
cjp402 @shannahh bless you!
Nov 23Reply
cjp402
cjp402 May I ask a question, I’m not brand new to Poshmark but I’m kind of new. And I am shocked at the listings that say “kind of dirty or step on the toes or whatever” but a lot of life left in them. Why don’t people just clean their boots before they sell them? I make sure all of my shoes that I post are clean and the souls are scrubbed a little so they are clean. I don’t get selling dirty crap.
Nov 23Reply
shannahh
shannahh @cjp402 Okay so those are Koolaburra by UGG boots... those are like the discount line of boots, or the line they supposedly made to market towards a “younger” crowd. The materials and quality are different than UGG original items. It’s like a more economical version. I’m not so sure about determining Koolaburra authenticity, because I don’t think I have come across replicas of those to have a good base of comparison 😶
Nov 23Reply
shannahh
shannahh @cjp402 And the black pair looks like it may be an authentic pair of UGG boots, just an old style. It’s hard to tell from just the two photos 🧐 Normally when I see listings that say “lots of life left”, it tends to be boots in very poor condition. Like they have *some* wears left in them obviously as functional boots that can be worn, they are just VERY worn down with stains/dirt/ragged fur/etc.
Nov 23Reply
cjp402
cjp402 @shannahh Well I’m retired and on a limited budget so those are kind of the boots that I look for, thinking that I can rescue them. I have to complete kits so sometimes I’m successful. Thank you.
Nov 23Reply
shannahh
shannahh @cjp402 That’s good!! I see some pairs on here that I think maybe I could clean up and get them looking great again, but it’s hard to find the time to do so 😬. I’m definitely not hating on Koolaburras! I own a couple pairs of them and they are nice boots 😀. It’s just a different line, so some of the features that apply to the usual UGG identification won’t be quite the same with the other styles

Dec 16Reply
kyndclover
kyndclover @shannahh I was questioning because the soles look awfully shiny... I’ve never owned a brand new pair and the sole seems a lil stiff
Dec 16Reply
shannahh
shannahh @kyndclover I think the soles may look that way as part of the lighting as well as it looks like they were taken in ‘portrait mode’... but, if they feel weird to you compared to your others, it may be worth taking them into an UGG store to have them checked out in person! Another thing you could do is chat in to UGG through their site and upload pictures there of the soles, inside tags, etc and let them give you their input as well! I’ve definitely done that before 😊
Dec 16Reply
kyndclover
kyndclover @shannahh awesome.. I’m definitely gonna do that.. they do have a security label and scan tag inside the left boot.. when I scan it, it goes straight to the official ugg website... as well as the 2 on the box.. just the soles are throwing me off.. thank you for your help.. 😀

What does ur part say? #1 tan pair size 11 boot go up to knee #2 pink pair size7 boot go up to knee #3 darkest shade of beige, not the orange construction boot color darkest brown u have size 9 & up to knees. Can this b done or am I not understanding bout the boots?
Jan 03Reply
shannahh
shannahh @cittykatmeow You are not understanding about the boots. I am not selling fake boots here. This is a post with photo EXAMPLES to show you what NOT to buy - it is for educational and informational purposes. I cancelled your “orders”. You should be getting refunds/credits back to your Posh account or bank account soon. If a seller were actually selling boots for just $3.00 on here, they would only get a NICKLE (5 cents) after the $2.95 fee! Did you read the description for the posts?
Jan 03Reply
shannahh
shannahh @cittykatmeow Please reread the description for this post. Are you trying to get UGG boots for $3.00? I don’t think you will find any for quite that low here, but you may find some sellers out there with boots in the $25 range, depending on degree of used condition. You will need to search & sort boots by size, then review listings to find the color + height you need, and buy from each of the different sellers as indicated. I cancelled your erroneously-placed orders right away.

shannahh @cittykatmeow Thank you!! Happy New Year to you as well 😃. Yes, I agree — I’d be wondering what sort of quality $3.00 boots would be too haha. Probably really really bad. Yes, the pictures here are to illustrate all sorts of examples of knockoff boots that others were selling and trying to pass of as being authentic. shannahh @colleenoliver Hey! I think that was the seller who replied to you. As far as I can tell, they look authentic, just really worn/used. But for that cheap of a price, you would likely be able to clean them up yourself! The only thing that can’t be cleaned up easily is the inside foot bed, if the fur is super worn and matted down. But you can always buy replacement sheepskin insoles and then it will feel like new! 😀

Oct 03Reply
shannahh
shannahh @murphysasha1349 Hey! So when I search “06Jamie” it only brings up one closet (username is something like 06jamie21), and that closet has no listings except the meet the posher one. Do you have the precise username? If you look in your purchases history it would be on there. Lots of closets will have fake purses in that brand! I see it a lot when I am reviewing reported listings on here
Oct 03Reply
murphysasha1349
murphysasha1349 @shannahh ...hi there thank you for helping me..yes I looked at my purse order on here..it is 06jamie18...so did she maybe block me because I commented about the dust bag not fitting and now I realize. some of the stitching is off..smh most likely a knock off...how do i send you a picture of it...I shall learn for sure lol
Oct 03Reply
shannahh
shannahh @murphysasha1349 So I can’t even find a closet at all with that username. Even if someone blocks you, you can still see their closet, you just can’t comment on anything or message them. More than likely if she was selling a bunch of potentially inauthentic items, she could have had the closet/account deleted by Poshmark. If I were you I would contact Poshmark support and send them the pictures saying you think you bought an inauthentic item

murphysasha1349 @shannahh ....you are truly a God sent..thank you so much Shannahh..I so appreciate you and your help..so I contact the Posh customer service right ?...sad thing is I love the bag and its many colors...it's really a shame so many people have such low morales... Thank you for being one of the good guys..have a wonderful day my friend...
Oct 03Reply
shannahh
shannahh @murphysasha1349 thank you ☺️, I appreciate the kind words. Yes, there should be a way to contact posh support either through the app here, or via email. You will want to have your order #, photos of the item, and a detailed description about what is wrong with the item. Now be warned they may not be able to help since you already “accepted” the purchase and rated the seller. But you never know! They may be more inclined to help you if you are a new user to the app. Good luck!! 🍀

Nov 11Reply
shannahh
shannahh @lyssin_up85 What are your questions? The soles and heel tags changed from time to time depending upon the year, style, and type (eg classic versus waterproof). Just because you don’t see the ‘Australia’ does not mean the boots are not legit. It is more about specific features such as how the letter spacing is or how the sole imprint appears.

chandlerdev @shannahh hi I’m so sorry to bother you, when you have time please look at the navy Ugg’s I posted in my closet? It’s the most current post I have when you click my profile. I bought them from someone on (M) and they don’t even fit & I just want to make sure they’re real…I really don’t know what to do.
Sep 15Reply
shannahh
shannahh @chandlerdev Hi! I took a look at your boots…. I have never seen a pair of the UGG Australia (the most well known brand in the USA and the one people refer to when talking about UGGs) boots look like that. I wonder if that is some other knockoff brand….. Technically “uggs” is a generic term that refers to this style of sheepskin boots, so other companies & brands use it as well. Those boots are not UGG boots in the sense that they are the brand that you were probably expecting to buy!
Sep 15Reply
chandlerdev
chandlerdev @shannahh oh my god. So they are not real UGGS. I don’t even know what to do now. It’s already been 3 days after the sale & the sellers already been paid. Can you just tell me what you would do? I’m sorry, thank you so much for your time
Sep 15Reply
shannahh
shannahh @chandlerdev 😬 it’s a tough situation! I think the seller could/would argue that they are technically “ugg” boots, just not the famous well-known or typical brand of UGGs that we would expect to be buying. Judging by those boots’ brand name & website, it seems to be a company actually based in Australia. I would definitely be annoyed if I were you! But I don’t know what if anything could be done to fix it, especially if the person you bought them from has already been paid ☹️
