This vintage J Hussey purse depicting renowned landmarks of New Orleans is sturdy, made of rich brown lacquered woven rattan with wooden handle and top hinged closure. The memorable landmarks are adhered to the purse as brilliantly applied decoupage. The inside is beautifully finished with a lovely quilted fabric. There is dark green braid fastened to the rim. I purchased this artistic piece while visiting New Orleans in 1972. I have never carried this purse, but I used it as a display. It is in pristine condition. It's a real beauty!
