trixiedanger360 the RISE is the area from the INNER crotch (where all 4 seams meet) UP TO THE TOP OF THE BUTTON. **it is used to show a lot/ or little of your lower belly (trend these days: HIGH RISE - aka: cove the belly button); Hope this helps!
