On December 7, my almost 22 year old little cuddle buddy, Tigger, passed away. I was incredibly lucky to have so much time with him, but in the end, it's never enough. I'm really heartbroken right now, but I wanted to share some cute photos of him with all of you. As you can see, he and Tesla were very close. tezza630 Oh, my heart just broke into a million pieces! I am so sorry you lost your beautiful boy! - you're so right, it is NEVER long enough. Every day we have with our furboys is a cherished day. We've had 3 losses, all far too soon, and my heart aches daily for them. Tigger is precious. 💚😽

tyrannolaurus @tezza630 Thank you so much for your kind words ❤️. It's so hard. I know 21 is really old for a cat -- I find it weird that there are people younger than him who can drive, vote and drink, lol -- but he was normal on Wednesday. It just spiraled downhill so fast 😞. He had some chronic health problems for a while, but they were manageable.

tyrannolaurus @tezza630 I wish our pets could make it to 50, but I guess they would all be REALLY crotchety by then. After all, Tigger had already perfected his "get off my lawn" grumble by 17 (the silver boy cat kept trying to be the head of the Tig fan club, and it got old, apparently). Anyway, thanks again for your sweet comment. I really appreciate it.

tezza630 ah, yes i know, i'd love it if each of our babies could live to a truly ripe old age. My only thought for "justification" is that it opens up our home to share and love another furbaby. There are so many that need us. We have just two (there are photos in my closet - Clawde, a bengal, and Phantom, a tuxedo) - i'd love to have more, but have to be "realistic" about our lifestyle. 💚💚😽

tezza630 I suppose it is equally "good" and "sad" that Tigger seemed fine. Firstly, i hope that means he did not suffer. But, secondly, it means it was a shock. But, you can never be prepared. We lost our first cat together at just 4 years of age from leukemia. I'd not ever had an animal - my husband grew up with cats. I was devastated and inconsolable. Three days later, i was at the humane society to find another baby to love. Not to replace. To love. 💚😽

suzmeow I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost one of my oldest friends, Archie, who adopted us when I was in kindergarten, and passed last spring right before I graduated college. I agree, it's never enough time in the end😕 let me know if you ever need someone to chat with 💕💕

staciec71 @tyrannolaurus What a handsome boy Tigger was!! Losing our fur babies is so hard. Our Lucky (cat) passed away coming up 2 years the end of March a week before his 17th birthday. I still miss him so much everyday. I pray for comfort as I know your heart still aches for your boy. 💕

msjwhite14 I'm so heart broken for u😭💔I LOVE cats all my life I've had cats&now I have a cat&a rabbit I wouldn't know what I would do if 1 of babies left me&went to heaven it's never easy dealing with any kind of passing as our bundles of joy are our babies.I feed the stray cats&get yelled@constantly but I still do it u have to have a different kind of heart to💞animals their such blessings when they enter our lives my💝is sadden for u but just know he may be gone physically but emotionally he's still alive💋
