te_andraroy This is such a good idea!! I’ve been burned before like that! A person bought a pair on my shoes… wore them then damaged them so badly I couldn’t resale them… and Poshmark gave her the refund… I was so disappointed for a while! Thank you for this 💡!!!

rosmassre @te_andraroy, I sold a brand new purse to someone, they opened a case with Poshmark. I offered for them to return it to me. They did, but I received an empty box full of paper. No purse and Poshmark still gave them a full refund. So I was out the money and the purse. I still feel the sting from that burn! Now every order is recorded!

vannerbob @casaneenee Hi! I'm new to Poshmark. I'm glad I seen this comment! So Someone messaged me on a shirt listing and said 'I'm looking to buy this for my daughter. Before I proceed with purchase, could you please send more picks to blahblah@blah to show no tears or rips?' I thought, something don't sound right about this. I went to get the shirt for more pics. and was going to message them back through Poshmark by replying, and the message was gone!

vannerbob I couldn't remember the email anyway as I wasn't going to go there anyway! I left a comment on the shirt asking them to repost the comment because I couldn't remember where to send pics to. I was just going to report it probably. I don't know but wasn't going to communicate through email. I'm pretty sure I read in the rules that that would just get you banned from Poshmark?

rosmassre @vannerbob, usually they will tell you that you will get a better deal off of Poshmark, then they will say they never got it or it’s damaged. Poshmark can’t help and you are out the money and item. I myself got burned going through Poshmark. A buyer said item not as described. I agreed to take back the item. They mailed me an empty box full of paper. It was my word against hers. I lost the item and the $$$. The sting from that burn will never go away. I am extremely cautious now.

rosmassre @vannerbob , communicate from the app only for your safety. I know the fees are high and sometimes tempting ( especially on high end items), but not worth it!!!! I record every package that goes out. I don’t think the sting from that burn will ever go away from me.

kellyved Thank you for creating this and allowing users to repost it. I'm so sad for anyone who was scammed, I can't believe some of these stories. I was scammed by Poshmark - I did one of their campaigns (IRL Posh @ Starbucks) and they never gave me the credits due ($5 gc + tee). It feels awful when ppl take advantage, thanks for taking action & empowering others to do the same. May I also use your post?

labellwhore Omg, I love this so much. Ty for sharing w the PM community. May I use it as well? I’m happy to reword. Woman bought a designer top and manipulated the photos through iPhone to make it look damaged bc she had buyers remorse or wanted to “borrow” my NWT designer item for a night out. Shirt was returned with tags but visibly worn and soiled. Never again! Love your photo and wording. Sorry you were burned too.
