Over the knee boots from Arche. A true European size 40, between 9 and 9.5. Low tapering heel. Arche's famous Lactae Hevea rubber soles. The rise to the knee in the back and fencing style, up above the knee in the front and over half the thigh. Interior calf half zippers for snug shapely fit. A "v" of elastic behind the knee. These will stretch a bit but I would not recommend for anyone who sometimes takes a size 10. Price firm.

mclees1266 Could you perhaps measure the width at the calf, please?

mrklein @mclees1266 there's a lot of give; I'd say they will fit very easily up to 15" but would stretch snugly at first to 16" comfortably. this is very soft pliable leather. the greater issue if you are muscular and have a thicker bone be lower down. this fits best on a slim long ankle and slim lower shin. you can see what I mean I think in the picture.
