The Ariat York boots walked all over northern Italy one Winter right out of the box one week before the trip. Maximum comfort and literally coordinated with all of the outfits. These are not those exact boots, but a skinnier, newer cousin. The Ariat boots do not come in varying calf sizes so it seems to be the luck of the draw. I purchased this pair because I have an intense fear of my favorite clothing items wearing out and having to be discarded. However, these boots have been lovingly preserved, meaning they have not hardly been worn at all. The calf is too narrow for me now with an additional 15 lbs of weight since I purchased my Italy walking boots. So, since that’s depressing enough, they are going to have to be re-homed. I purchased them with a light scuff on the brown section of one of the boots (see pic). I figured if anyone got that close to comment, it’s their problem with perfection, not mine. 😉 Ariat boots are very comfortable. The York is my 4th pair.
