coming from the first season of the underrated adidas x Kolor collab way back in 2015, these shorts took the tights under shorts at the gym trend and said, why not three layers? They have a lot of cool features, like branded waist ties in a reverse pattern (you pull across your body), three reflective stripes on the rear leg, a mesh middle layer and a great taffeta that wears wonderfully and is moderately water resistant. These are unfortunately just too big for me, so at best they were lounge wear but then I realized they're far too technical for that. Unfortunately, the eyelet at the waist pull is failing because it turns out you should reinforce those. I guess that lesson was learned in the next season. Prices accordingly. Tagged an L and probably best for a 35" waist.
