mcmurryhoward Hello, I am interested in this gown. Just a couple of questions please? The close up pictures looks gray, however, it is black, correct? How far does it drape in the back? Is the front straight or is there a small gather to the left side? Thank you for your assistance.

lauraunger @mcmurryhoward hello! Yes the dress is black. The back drapes down to mid back, but we had the designer add a small panel inside in the same material that covers just up to the top of a bra strap. This can be easily removed if you want to show more back. There is a very small amount of material that comes together on the side, but it’s not really noticeable. I posted some photos of my mom at my wedding so you can see a little better how this looks.

jurven On one of the tags it says “special note: 3 inches of extra length added.” It that correct? I’m only 5’5, so just trying to clarify. Thanks in advance.

lauraunger @jurven yes! My mom added the extra length because she was worried about it being too short, but they cut that off when they hemmed it for her being 5’8”. If you are 5’5” you will either need to wear heels or have it hemmed.
