When you say “too big for you” are you typically size 11.5, but these are too loose? In the heel, by chance? I’m a 12D, I have a pair of Alden loafers, size 12 D/B -fit almost perfect, but slip off in the heel. I can’t tell if going a half size down from my 12 would fit me better or be too tight.
