Allen Edmonds Long Branch Wingtip Leather Boots 9.5 9.5D Brown CXL

These are beautiful Allen Edmonds wingtip boots in leather-lined rich brown chromexcel leather from the Horween Leather Company in Chicago with Vibram Gumlite soles and 3 pairs of speedhooks for ease of lacing. These are built on Allen Edmonds' 511 last. These also have 550 paracord boot laces, meaning that they can hold up to 550 lbs. These are nearly identical to the Allen Edmonds Chapman boots. Regarding sizing, I wear 8.5 in most Red Wing Heritage boots and 9 in most Allen Edmonds shoes. I was able to make these work with an insole even though they were half a size too big but my wife tells me I have too many boots so I have made the difficult decision to sell these. Because these are pre-owned, there may be a few nicks and marks here and there but nothing that really jumps out. A nice feature of chromexcel leather is that you can usually rub out any minor scratches with stiff horsehair brush. I believe these are F2s (factory 2nds) but I can never tell what gives them that designation. In my experience, it is usually something so minor that it is no longer relevant once the boots have been worn 3-4 times. These have been stored in a smoke-free home.
