Great deal for the pyrography collector! Pyrography was a home craft using a butane wood burning tool in the early 1900s. The cube shaped box has a faded reddish pink fabric lining in the top and inside are a set of 28 hand made dominoes made from some type of plywood. Since plywood was used in the US in the late 1800s, these are likely as old as the box itself. This cube box has a faint stamp on the back that says FLEMISH as well as a 3 digit number that is too faint to decipher. The rectangular box clearly says No. 43 as well as a partial name: S________ & Co. The third box with the painted poinsettia appears to be a stamped design on the top and inside lid with the edges a burned design. No markings on the back. Please note: one of the hinges on the red poinsettia box is missing a tiny nail. Latches are intact and functional on the other two.
