It’s very sturdy material. Beautiful pattern. Not straw. Not flimsy cotton. Not sure. Doesn’t say. But a leather headband in inner rim. With a slim lining covered in some type of plastic. It’s a beauty. And in spectacular condition. I wore it once. While in Mexico. Lol. In 1992.

@mrsbonbon I might actually be able to help! I believe it’s made of Sahuayo, which is the finest Moreno Palm straw available, grown in the state Michoacan Mexico. It’s a gorgeous hat material. I love these hats as well!
