grellow @cuggit sorry for the late reply. i was on vacation. Yes this app can work on the operating system you mentioned. In terms of your mac, can you tell me the year of the MacBook. Also this is not a disk software. you simply will go to app store & download it when i give you my apple ID.

grellow @miktoxic the software is not in my name. i bought logic pro x of course, so its attached to my account. when you download it to your computer, the software is yours. to install it you will log into the app store under my ID & download it. very simple process.
