@jessie1118 I believe that those people will list the price so cheap so it would attract people at first, then in the comment they will tell you text them in a specific number means they want to take the transaction off Posh. In addition, you could see in their own listing that they resell same stuff multiple times. Hope that would help you!

@jessie1118 It is good that you didn’t, but I know some people did do it because they want to buy cheap thing, it makes sense too but I just wish they asked themselves why this person sells stuff so cheap and if they do the transaction in the third party, nobody is in the middle would be able to guarantee that the transaction would go through.

I just saw you are interested in the Apple Watch from a person name “dopegirl”, they are scammer too just so you know, they deleted everything in their old listing as the old account is “miaess”, a person in the cmt above already tagged their name on so you could take a look on that (there is nothing in their old listing). I don’t mean to stalk you, just randomly saw your name in the cmt so I just want notice you.

I feel like just overall it’s so messed up to drive people away from apps like this when we’re just trying to find better prices on stuff. They took $40. I’m just done. If I can’t buy it through Poshmark than I’m just not going to buy it.

@bebelicious I’m sorry it happened again to you. Do you really need an Apple Watch for now? Have you ever tried M-e-r-c-a-r-i app? They took just 10% on the commissions so the price up there probably could be more affordable. Sometime you even could get free shipping. Or you could go on Ebay, I got mine on Ebay for $140 + free shipping.

A user named “appleplug” just tried scamming me but I followed my gut. Please do not buy from them they are selling Apple products and asking you to pay off site and even offering to lower the price. I just reported them as well.

@hvh257 I meant it will take longer to let Posh stops them, but if more people report them, the process will be done sonner. They always bring an excuse that they get the stuff from the Pawn shop and that is why the price is cheap but again it seems unrealistic when the Apple Watch series 3 for $150 and iPhone X for $200. If people usually asked themselves why this stuff is so cheap, not a lot people would get scammed.

English speakers would say “willing to negotiate “. Many of these Chinese replica companies have US phone numbers to sound legit. The product will come directly from China.

@doloresposhmark Hi, if you sent an offer through poshmark, they probably did not accept it. The scam is that they make you pay outside the app, that way you are not protected by poshmark, and after you pay they never send anything and they block you.

@doloresposhmark the scammer is one seller that always asked to be contacted off poshmark using a 646 telephone number. The ones that are honest they will sell you their items through the app 😉 I hope you didn't crossed path with the scammer one.
