Art Nouveau 14K Gold Itay Hand-Carved Shell Cameo Pendant Brooch w/Diamond 14K Yellow Gold Art Nouveau Hand-Carved Shell Cameo Pendant Brooch Italian w/ Diamond and Sterling Silver This gorgeous piece is an antique, likely Art Nouveau era (1890-1910) pendant brooch. It features a hand carved cameo of a young woman with curls in her hair and wearing an airy top with a flower on her shoulder. She faces towards the right, with her profile showing. The carving is extremely well done and delicate. The young lady is also wearing a necklace; the necklace is made of Sterling Silver. The 'chain' on her necklace is a thin Sterling Silver wire which actually wraps around her neck from the backside (it is drilled through the cameo). The pendant on her necklace features a single small round-cut diamond. The cameo is carved from natural shell, and is set on a coral color background.  Framing the cameo is a 14K Solid Yellow Gold setting. It encases the edges of the cameo. Around this, there is also a rope-like accent surrounding the frame.
