Scarf fabric was manufactured in China, like most authentic mulberry silk fabrics, as the silk is grown/made there. The blend of silk, a protein fiber, and rayon which is plant based, allows a two tone devore effect, because the two different fibers take up the dye differently. Care: 55% mulberry silk, 45% rayon. Please hand wash delicately and hang dry. Steam or cool iron to remove any wrinkles. Item is steam sterilized. Item may wrinkle during shipping but will be restored easily with a light steaming or hang in a steamy bathroom, or use an iron on the cool setting.
