rxforspin Hi, Jennifer! Thanks for your interest in the coat. Armpit to armpit=22''; Across waist= 19" (not around the waist). It is not wool, but 88% poly, 10% viscose rayon, 2% elastine (to provide a little stretch). it is also lined, as you can see from the photos. I hope this helps.
