Broadway Show Dress

Phenomenal one of a kind silver & gold dress designed by Martin Pakledinaz & Amy Clark & hand beaded by Brianna O'Neill for Eric Winterling Inc. Kelli O'Hara wore this dress while playing the role of Billie Bendix in the Broadway musical Nice Work If You Can Get It.She earned nominations for Best Performance by A Leading Actress in a Musical & Outstanding Actress in a Musical. The show opened April 2012 & also starred Matthew Broderick & Blythe Danner. This dress was a very special creation,it being the first dress to be beaded & made in house by Eric Winterling Inc. as well as being one of the last masterpieces created by Marty Pakledinaz who passed away at just 58yrs old from brain cancer on July 8,2012 only 3 months after the show opened. Marty received nominations for Best Costume Design & Outstanding Costume Design for his work in Nice Work If You Can Get It. During his career he created costumes for opera, ballet & theatre shows earning 10 Tony nominations & 2 awards. Shortly after his death he was inducted into the American Theater Hall of Fame. This dress was made for &meant to be on a stage! It absolutely comes ALIVE when the lights hit it & the movement in the skirt is sheer perfection!it has a Nude mesh shell hand beaded with silver & gold glass beads and a silk lining.Large Crystals adorn the neckline& shoulders.Zips in back with hook and eye closure.This dress has added shoulder pads due to its 5lb weight.
