Handwoven braided leather shoe made in Michoacán, México. The name 'huarache' comes from 'kwarachi' in the Purépecha language spoken in the highlands of Michoacán. The website says they run a half size large. Brand new in box Size 8 Blush color (salmon is a more accurate description) There is a dark area on the outer edge of the right shoe as well as a purple dot on the sole. The dot looks like maybe marker. The shoes arrived this way. They've never been worn. The shoes are hand-made from locally sourced sustainable materials, so I'm assuming that's why there is a dark spot.
