Scammers! Omg you guys are the worst and really take the fun out of poshing. 😕 please own the item you post pics of. It's so annoying when a buyer wants an item and buys it only for you to go M.I.A. Resulting in a cancelled order. It's disappointing and such a headache 😞😱

@kochanel my absolute biggest pet peeve is when an item arrives and I notice it is undeniably stained, I contact the seller & they act as if I received the item, opened the box, poured coffee inside the box, shook the box, removed the item and then blamed them for the coffee stains. I don't even drink coffee. Sorry half rant, half pet peeve.

Hello! Anyone tired of sellers posting "Stock" pictures? That is super annoying! Post pictures of what You have taken Yourself....Stock photos are only allowed with permission of the original owners of the photos. If You do not have permission of the original owners of the photos, then You can be reported. It is against Posh rules. Any comments?

Betsey Johnson Jewelry scammers on Posh. One sold a fake betsey necklace for $35....they are ordered from China & run between $3.00-$5.00 each....check out jennydsw post on scammers....She has pics of fake & real tags for Betsey Johnson jewelry because She go scammed on another site! If You give them away for free,,,it's not scamming..if Your selling them & stating they are authentic it is against Posh rules

As a seller mostly (I do buy as well) we also have our pet peeves but it's really nice to see what bothers buyers! I've also experienced some really unfortunate purchases from sellers. I believe we should all be showing each other mutual respect, honesty and courtesy! It makes for a much more pleasant experience 😀

I'm so sorry you've had some bad experiences on Posh! If you ever have unanswered questions, pose again. Sometimes those sellers with like 150k follows get buried in their news feed & have a hard time keeping up. If you have the question, someone else likely does too. And if you get an item not as described, never accept the item-use that Posh report button. Posh Protect is AWESOME-they work with you & refund you if necessary. Hope this helps. 💕💖💕

So many to list but here's one: Bait and Switch. Sellers listing something as Brandy, Free People, etc. when it's not. Just because you disclaim "not Brandy, tagged for exposure" in your description does not make it legit. Basically it's like saying "now that I have your attention, I gotta tell you that I lied". Also listing as leather in the title when it's synthetic. From false advertising to mere dishonest advertising, just bad practice.

Yep, and as someone mentioned, the use of stock/stolen images. Just like mis-tagging, people see others doing it and never stop to think if it's right or wrong. As a photographer the misuse of images really rubs me the wrong way.

I have one I bought from Michael Koran online a few years ago that I dropped and cracked the glass and it has an encrypted serial number along with the Michael Kors name with stainless steel and it's the same for the watches that she sells. Which is the only reason I bought one for my mom as well. You won't be disappointed.

And then I got another message today about the same item asking if I thought it would be long enough on them!!! I already shipped it! How do you respond politely with "things to ask before hand"? @cygnenoir sorry for the late reply. I'm not really sure about the authenticity. They are great quality and came in the box with duster bag but i haven't worn them because they are thick soles and don't bend when you walk. So I put them to the side. Not sure if this helped or not.

@triciaking381 @genfox I know this post is old but I just found it and it’s very enlightening! I own an actual retail boutique that I’ve had to close and move 100% online. When you purchase wholesale items from a vendor, you also get professional photographs as part of the package. That’s why you’ll see the same images from different boutiques. I couldn’t understand why people kept asking for pictures of the “real” item. Now I understand!
