Alas, with all the algorithm changes, live shows, and overall market stats, I can no longer dedicate so much time and effort into a closet that just isn't profitable (sales have decreased a whopping 90% since a year ago). I will not ever be reopening. I loved Poshmark, and I'm so sorry to say goodbye. God bless!

jadene65 Wow... I truly understand. Although I do some posh shows. It's difficult to get an audience with so many shows competing. I'm thinking about the same thing! I have about 10 more items to list, and then I just want to sell them. I just can't give my stuff away anymore.

msleslied1 Boy do I ever understand. Ever since they went corporate…all about making money for them and we are no longer supported. I have over 250K followers and can’t seem to get a single brand in searching brands…thinking about selling out and closing up as well. I feel so and miss the good ole days of posh when shipping was $3.99…I sold multiple items every single day….I’ve sold one item all month. I’ve been paring WAY down already. I am very sad and disappointed

balance_and_joy @msleslied1 Omg remember that $3.99 shipping?! I first started back in 2015 selling stuff I didn't wear anymore, and that became my full-time job, soooo many sales a day, plus an awesome community. All from just cashing in on unused items in my closet. Now things feel either elitist for a select few mega-sellers....or the same fake items in 10,000 accounts.

msleslied1 @balance_and_joy Yes, I started in 2015 as well with a sweatshirt I had bought somewhere which was really too big for me, so thought I’vde try posh. Sold it in a few hours, so I too hit my own closet….& now I agree with you….it’s over. It used to be so much fun sourcing because I sold everything….it really was so much fun…I remember a bundle of 11 items! Yep, the good ole days that corporate greed has ruined….Leslie

rarquilla Oh do I understand! The live shows are ridiculous. Takes up half my news feed. Telling me when they are and several reminders. No one shares much anymore. I have people begging me to share their closets and I completely understand why. The shipping is crazy but normally the customers do receive their items in 2 days. I purchased an item from dillards and needed it in 2 days it cost me $20. I will say corporate is awful. Your closet is lovely. I hope you sell tons this week. Rona

alfresco5 I’ve been wondering why my sales have dropped drastically, even though I have added even more products and even higher quality! I’m worried that Poshmark is going the way that Etsy did…and turning into a waste of time 😣 Good luck to you! 😊💜

wolfemom65 I totally get it! Not only has Poshmark gone down the rabbit hole it's the drop in sales that is making it difficult to stay here. I actually used to make a decent living here combined with my retirement. I also agree that the live shows are a real pain and you can't shut down the notifications! I have missed communication from actual customers because they clog the feed.

brokegrandmom Sorry to see you leave but it’s happening more and more. I get ridiculous low ball offers and les and less sales. I don’t have time to do a live show and sharing takes up too much time also. The only positive thing is I’ve met so many sweet people. Good luck in your new adventure

styl1stcloset Totally with you on this. Between all The fake merchandise and the insane commission they charge on top of shipping it’s become really tough to maintain a closet on here. And they should have a much better item identifier instead I rely on google but google always leads me back to posh which shows me They don’t have a very good search system. It’s a LOT OF TIME invested for what we end up getting and so much for me is about the community but it seems to me

What started out as a business with great intentions and a great community of course ended up selling out bc it’s all about money in the country and that’s so sad.
