concordlisa @hmilone Hi There! Sorry for the delayed response. I just gifted this beautiful scarf to a dear friend but I still have a brand new shawl (or can be used as a "throw"/blanket) of the exact colors and pattern, it's just much larger (55 x 70 inches). I'll list it now for you to see. To answer your questions, it IS authentic and it is a very fine, soft, light Merino Wool (not heavy at all). Again, my apologies for late reply
