According to the text on the back of these tiles, they were imported from France over 200 years ago (it says 175 years but these souvenir tiles are clearly vintage) when ships would use them as ballast stones prior to leaving them in New Orleans, Louisiana where they were later used as roofing shingles in the Vieux Carre (French Quarter).
Each tile has a decoupage print signed Coleman. One is Pirates Alley and the other is the Labranche Building, both in New Orleans.
The tiles measure 6.5" x 4.75" each. Both tiles are in good condition with no flaws that I can find.
