Reposhing this item I purchased from @susangmd. While the label does note the designer as Carla Fernandez…I now have doubts that it is the SAME famed designer Carla Fernandez whose designs are drawn from Mexican cultural traditions and sustainable clothing practices. I do however loved this jacket! RePoshing b/c it is a bit too small for me. I would say a that this fits up to a US size 8 or 10. Questions? Leave a comment below!

cathie1877 I'm pretty sure that Carla Fernandez does not use man-made fabrics like polyester. Her textiles are handmade by indigenous Mexican artisans. She also doesn't use sizes; her pieces are all one size. https://en.carlafernandez.com/collections/all

vcasseloliver @cathie1877 thank you for your comment. I own a few items from This designer and too thought it odd. As I am rePoshing…I relied on the initial story that she purchased the coat directly from the designer. It is plausible that the designer’s practice shifted at some juncture. It is a lovely jacket!! Many thanks for your observation and comment! I’ll do a bit more digging.
