nubiansvault @tommy05boy Good Morning, thank you for your inquiry. These are the original soles. The cover is just a protection cover to prevent the original sole from scrapes. The boots are just as they appear in the photo. Minor scraps at the toe tips, but if you purchase I will have the cobbler buff and shine them to perfection before I ship to you. The boot has only been worn a total of 4x. I hope this info helps answers your question. Have a good day.

nubiansvault Hello, sorry for delay in response, I’m on vacation in Italy. I think the boot would fit you just fine, as the toes is very pointed. I have a black pair in size 39 and they fit just as well as the red 38.5. I hope this helps.

nubiansvault @mishamilton2021 Sorry for delay in response, just recently returned from Europe. I wear a size 8 US. The boots are size 39 Italian. They are narrow so I went up a full size. I have the same boot in Black, size 38.5 Italy, they fit pretty much the same. I hope this helps.
