L.A. based designer Tremaine Emory, aka Denim Tears, teams up with Converse for a thoughtful take on the All Star Chuck Taylor 70 Hi inspired by artist David Hammons' 1990 piece, "African-American Flag". The traditional 12oz. canvas high top upper echoes Hammons' iconic work with black and red stripes accented with a black and green star motif on the tongue and heel strip. Black laces, but also green and red will ship with the shoes, co-branded insoles and license plates on the heel of the white vulcanized rubber cupsoles, and red rubber outsole finish off this collaboration.
