beeposh2day @vaiz__mart No, never mentioned "sealed" -other platforms listings showed items opened to authenticate I have this posted item "not for sale" on my page-org listing, I show my original first unboxing video. I kid you not. My mother bought x2 of these in Nov 2001, x1 for my sister & I, & 1 for a back up incase we fought over the "new cool system" She never returned this unit to Toys R US-2001-$99 sale...so why she purchased 2 of them.. Its legit the best on the web, no doubt! HOURS! Researched

I only use poshmark platform to resell and Ive been waiting to have it find a new home lol. I KNOW it is super rare as I have watched, researched etc. AND it is valued for this amount... I HOPE soon lol.

nicole_lillie So just a heads up- you actually have DOL-101, not DOL-001. If you look on the back of the body of the GC, you will see the model number inked there. That's the first and most reliable step to identifying your model. There are several differences between these two models, the most visually apparent (easy for newbies to spot!) being the removal of the digital AV out port.

nicole_lillie On the -001, you will see 2 out ports, on -101, you only have the single analog port. Nintendo removed the Digital AV port to cut costs to both consumer and manufacturer. I could go on about why it matters to gamers, but being able to spot it is the main point, not my nerding out.

nicole_lillie Another one that's easy for a newbie to check is the nameplate on the disc cover. On a -001, this is removable. -101 it is not. The serial port 2 that was on the -001 was also removed on the -101, that would be located at the bottom right of the cube.

nicole_lillie One more really quick check is -001 came with a 46w adaptor, -101 shipped with 48w. You can see that on the back of your adaptor. There are other changes the -101 shipped out with the effect game play, but nothing you'd be able to spot with just a visual check up :) Sorry for the nerding, it's a very pretty machine and I couldn't help myself.

beeposh2day @nicole_lillie whoaaaa... thank you!!! ah if only I had your brain/knowledge lol... or if we were friends... YOU would of saved me hours of Youtube videos and making sure I'm having the correct info to source bc it is IMPORTANT when providing an item, service... So ideally, DOL-101 are basically the same price. The people really after one over the other is a small group?
