Has been altered- bust taken in, waist taken in slightly and zipper exchanged for corset back closure (fits wider range of sizes versus zipper closure). Has not been taken up at all and is original length (I’m 5’7’’ and wore 3.5 inch heels). A bustle was added. This dress was worn briefly for the wedding ceremony and pictures, but not for a reception. Still, it has some light marks on the bottom and a very light stain on the L chest and could use a professional cleaning if you’re having anything other than a casual ceremony. alyssanridenour Is the dress white or ivory? What are the adjusted measurements?

susannarupp @alyssanridenour it’s white. Difficult to provide the new measurements as the corset back fits a range, unlike the zipper. It is a true size 8 but with room on either side if you’ve tried on the 8 in store.

susannarupp @alyssanridenour they removed the original cups and put in smaller (I’m usually A cup) pads. They also re-sewed the dress to fit the new cups snugly.

alyssanridenour Could you add pictures of the inside bust area? And measure the top and corset gap please? I’m a D cup so I’m wondering if there’s enough fabric left to be altered properly.

susannarupp @alyssanridenour done! I also took a pic of a small stain I hadn’t noticed before on the L chest. FYI We are gone the month of January leaving Sunday, so if you want to order it would have be tomorrow- otherwise can ship when we’re home in Feb as well :)

alyssanridenour @susannarupp Thank you so much, I really appreciate your time! I’ll think on it and talk to some tailors to see what the options are. I love this dress and was going to add a corset back anyway so if adjustments are possible this would be perfect.
