Just goes to show that something good can come from an incredibly horrible experience if given the chance. ❤️ I'm happy that you have survived as well. It's a very rough road to recover from. That's why these women need as much positive support from their sisters as we can give in every way. 😊

@speejink I honestly would donate money to your charity in a heartbeat but I am in a very rough point of my life right now financially expecially my daughter's father who is one of the persons in my life who beat me severely 4 years and my daughter now 12 years old is refusing to want to even talk to him because last summer for the first time she saw the truth in him when he beat up his girlfriend 1 out of 20 girlfriends each summer in front of her and he is serious BAD

“ I am almost 40 I turned 39 this year and at around 37 right when I started Poshmark was when I started living my life I started out with being abused and always growing up and leaving that to my daughter's father and then leaving that to even more hell around 3435 I started finding myself I love Poshmark it gives me a sense of feeling like I have a talent of finding cool stuff and turning around 2 others who agree and making a living out of it on disability

@speejink hi beautiful, I have several boxes put aside for charities such as this. They are filled with clothing, footwear, toiletries, stationery and books. Along with other resources that are relevant to the recovery stage. What I don't have is cash lol. If you volunteer at the shelter and can bring the box to them I will send it to you, just look in my closet under the post with SHOP FOR A CAUSE xoxo 💋 love always Hillary

I donate all the time to this cause (a few others to) as my daughter went thru it..., she couldn't come home because he'd find her and my granddaughter she was escorted to a shelter privately until it was safe to come home we donate clothes and formula all the time, they protected them, for that I'm grateful I don't sell clothes here on posh for donation is more important every little bit helps! This is wonderful! ❤️

@justpeep I went through this myself. It was very ugly. He went to jail for felony stalking. I also had a friend that was in a similar situation and her husband murdered her in front of their five year old son then committed suicide. At Christmas. Ripped my heart out. Still does. The shelter needs dry goods, laundry detergent and fabric softener, paper towels, TP, tampons, pads, can goods. And so on...
