Edwardian earrings with diamonds and rubies.
Extremely beautiful pair of dangle earrings, created in France during the Edwardian period, back in the 1900's. This antique pair of earrings has been fully crafted with classic patterns in solid yellow gold of 18 karats and are fitted with hinged French-hooks backs. They are embellished with a great selection of twenty-two natural earth mined gemstones, such; European old cuts diamonds and cushion cut rubies. These earrings are completely genuine from the stated period, are over hundred years old and absolutely with no replacements of any gemstones.
Diamond: Mounted around in a gallery of flat prongs settings, with 20 calibrated Old European round cut diamonds, 1.80 carats, F/G color, VS/SI clarity.
Rubies: Mounted in the centers in ten-prongs settings, with 2 cushion faceted cut (6 x 5 x 3.2 mm) of natural vivid red rubies with a combined weight of 1.74 carats.
Weight: 3.60 Grams (2.32 Dwt).
Measurements: 15 mm by 10 mm (0.60 x 0.40 Inches).
Hallmarks: Unmarked as usual and electronically tested for 18kt gold, (.750/.999 Au).
