Embroidered and Lace-Detailed Long Gown by Onda de Mar

This was purchased at a sample sale in NYC, and so there is no fabric content tag. The dress and lace both feel like a soft, luxurious, dense cotton, and the design seems to be playing off of traditional 'sarafan' aesthetics, but with a modern top (triangle cups, strappy shoulder). The dress has an elastic panel in the back and is easy to get in and out of; the shoulder straps are adjustable and can be tied in various ways. The hem is also detailed with lace, like the sides of the slit that runs on either side of the dress (approx. 16 in from the hem). This dress is floor-length - and in my case (5'4) can be worn only with high heels unless I want it to trail on the ground. This is probably why I don't wear this dress, although it is *extremely* flattering, and why this one-of-a-kind piece is in perfect condition!
