Selling my 14K Rose Gold Diamond wedding ring and band which have been soldered together. Size 7.25. Only worn for 2 years. Just don’t love the design on me and getting something different. Received regular cleanings and repairs every 6 months per Kay’s insurance policy. I would do the buy-back thing but Kay will only buy back gold, not the diamonds with it. Help me get rid of this so I can put the money toward a new ring!

@cheryl_raymer Hi Cheryl, I completely understand. I’m in Michigan so I’ve just been getting all of my updates from the news—I can’t imagine how scary it is down there! So glad you and yours are safe! All diamonds are in place, just needs a good cleaning which I’m working on right now. I had it insured with Kay jewelers and had lost a few diamonds before but they replaced them for me so it’s good as new now👍🏻

@thatblondechica The fact that you lost a few diamonds out of the ring concerns me a little. I wouldn't be able to afford to replace them if they came out, and Kay's is expensive. I would want to wear it for every day. Just like you're looking for your "special" ring, this would be mine. I'm an older lady who works my butt off still, and I feel I deserve it. lol. Just wondering if you think it might happen again. This would be a major purchase for me, and just asking your opinion.

@cheryl_raymer I do believe it can be resized. I understand your hesitation. My husband bought the ring in 2019 and it lost two diamonds in the first year I had it, but hasn’t happened since. I was concerned initially as well so the last time I had it maintenanced and cleaned they tightened everything up for me as a precaution.

@cheryl_raymer I unfortunately don’t have the paperwork. I tried getting it before I listed the ring and all they could give me was a receipt for the transaction of the purchase of the engagement ring. They weren’t able to find the receipt for the enhancer/wedding band in their records which was frustrating because both were purchased by the same account within a few months of eachother from the same Kay Jewelers location in my city. But yes, I could ship it out within a day or two!
