I just wanted to give my followers and Posher's an update on my son. He is still in the PICU @ Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus OH. He has been here since Feb. 8, 2020 It looks like he will be here for at least a few more months. I am practicing social distancing & using universal precautions due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. I will reopen my closet once he is released. I WISH ALL OF YOU GOOD HEALTH AND AM PRAYING THAT NOONE GETS THIS CRAZY COVID-19 VIRUS. ❤ hippiechic4peac/Michelle

hippiechic4peac @morgan7600850 I apologize, I am a bit confused. you responded to my notice that I am closing my closet temporarily, while my son is in the PICU at a Children's hospital 100 miles from my home. so. I am not sure what you are referring to when you ask if there are any flaws.

awahgee1979 @missybfit I really hope your son gets better I thank you for sharing all those items. for I also am eplectic I have MS and lupus so I does this for some kind of money I hate to ask but did you like those items or were u just sharing I completely understand your situation my son was n a horrible acidedent when he was 4 if you like them I would be willing to give you a extreme discount sorry to even asked I would share but it looks like you have no listings for sale thank you brandy

hippiechic4peac @awahgee1979 I am so sorry that you suffer from Lupus and MS. I do share items I like from the Posher's I follow, however. due to my current situation I am pinching pennies. Both of my son's were born with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. I lost my oldest son, Theodore to the disease in December of 2014 at the age of 31. I became a nurse to care for both boys at home.

hippiechic4peac @awahgee1979 I am currently working as a nurse for my son Nathaniel who is currently in the Hospital PICU. Thanks so much for asking about him. He is 30. He had 5 admissions in between May 2017 and September 2018 totaling. 12 and a half months. I started selling on Poshmark because I anticipated his Hospitalizations would become more frequent, as a way to help supplement my income.

hippiechic4peac @awahgee1979 Nationwide Children's. in Columbus, OH, sees them for a lifetime if they have a childhood disease. I hope your son that suffered a serious injury when he was 4, is doing well now. I am currently on FMLA. I live a hundred miles from the Hospital, so that is why I had to temporarily close my closet. He has a lot going on and I anticipate he will be here for at least a couple more months.

hippiechic4peac @awahgee1979 He has Pyelonephritis in both kidneys, a severe kidney infection due to infected kidney stones. He has Bacteremia, a bacterial infection in his blood. He has Colitis in his sigmoid colon which is infected and enlarged. He has Macrolide anemia and thrombocytopenia. Both problems due to low blood platelet count in his blood. He has received blood transfusions.

hippiechic4peac @awahgee1979 He is ventilator dependent when he is well and he has severe pain in his abdomen and flank area in his back. where his kidneys are. Because of the pain he is taking shallow breaths and has atelectisis, areas of collapsed lungs where he isn't breathing deep enough. He also has Pleural Effusions in both lungs. It is a collection of flood in the pleural space between his heart and lungs.

hippiechic4peac @awahgee1979 He is on TPN, IV Nutrition because he can't tolerate his tube feeds. They are currently managing his pain with Methadone, Dilaudid, Tylenol and Motrin. He is aloud extra Dilaudid every 2 hours if the other pain medications aren't covering his pain. He is also on Lorazapam for anxiety. I am blessed that I am able to care for him at home, when he's not in the Hospital.

hippiechic4peac @awahgee1979 This has also taken a toll on my physical and mental health. I still grieve everyday for my son that I lost and suffer from severe anxiety OCD and depression. I also have severe osteoarthritis in my spine, lower back hips and knees. I am 57 and sometimes feel much older. Because I have cared for both of my son's there entire life

hippiechic4peac @awahgee1979 the bond is so close, that when you lose them or they are in the Hospital it is really hard for me. I am determined to care for Nathaniel until God decides it's time for him to go be with his brother. I know I am going to feel so depressed and empty when that happens. I hope I haven't shared too much information.

I will check back from time to time and maybe get something once I'm back on my feet. I wish you good health and happiness. I know both Lupus and Multiple Sclerosis are both very serious. Are you in remission with your MS?. I know at times your symptoms can exacerbate with both diseases.
