Vintage Catalina 1950's HOLLYWOOD GLAM Swim Suit in excellent condition! This gorgeous piece could have been worn by a pageant contestant, as many of them were, in the 50's. Features include ruching detail on the sides, in black top quality fabric with a slight sheen, elastic legs, and a slight skirt in the front. The bra is in the same fabric in white, covered in white dotted swiss and black piping. A small black bow where the black meets the white and double spaghetti straps that are attached at the back with buttons. There is a strong metal zipper and hook and eye closures. Bra measures 29-40" with full stretch, Armpit to leg: 19", Elastic legs: 22-27", Waist 26-30", Hips: 34-36". The size tag is faded, but I guess it would fit anywhere from 6-10 in today's sizes. No stains, rips, or tears. This classically beautiful suit appears to have never been worn, and is absolutely stunning!
