I paid close to $400 for these timeless boots and wore them probably only 10 times. They are my favorite boots ever! After being pregnant, my feet were bigger and don’t fit in them anymore (so sad!!!). You can see that they are worn, but the color “smoke” for these comes pre-distressed, so they looked lived-in when I bought them new. You can see this distressing on the Frye Boot website if you look them up. They are a size 8, and I was a true size 8, but I was not able to wear a heavy winter sock with them. I’d suggest looking on their website for Frye’s size guide. The tread on the bottom isn’t worn much and I don’t think they were worn enough to wear in to the shape of my foot, so I think they would feel like they were new in that regard. I have not treated or polished the leather, any polishing look on them (toes) came that way when I ordered them. If you’ve never had Frye boots before… these will last forever!
