GERMAINE GUERIN Art Deco Evening Bag Antique

This is a very special piece for a collector. This purse is a classic example of the French craftsmanship at the time. Rich and excellent Satin lined interior with divided areas enveloped in rich satin. Outside appears to be a soft faded black or cool brown suede. Oval shaped clasp has handpainted portrait of woman and cherub with birds, initialed "CB". Clasp has filigree. Clasp works well. Small wrist strap is also suede material.Interior brand stamp states "Germaine Guerin, 243 Rue St Honore. 11-189
