This is a rare and special item - a Gelareh Designs Kiwa Guardian Vest Shoulder Piece. It is a size small/medium (see measurements in photos) - for reference, I am usually a size large in tops but since the only fitted part is in the neck, it fits me fine as the rest of it lays over your torso. The base is made of black goat leather (real) and the scales are made of stainless steel. It features a zipper on one side and no zipper on the other side - it can be worn with either side in front. The company, Gelareh Designs, makes high quality items that have dazzled on stars (Prince, Lady Gaga) and appeared in films and TV series (Star Trek: Discovery, Lucifer, Oceans 8). The vest was worn a few times but looks extremely similar to the condition it was in when it was new (see main picture). There are a few little scratches on a few of the scales (see pictures for more detail) but those are almost impossible to see when vest is worn. The scales on top stick up a little bit but as you can see from the main picture, even when new, this happens. You can wear it as a show stopping statement piece (I would always get a lot of compliments on it) or as a costume - for example, Daenerys (Khaleesi) from Game of Thrones (the scales give off dragon vibes). I would wear it over a black leather jacket and many people thought the vest was attached to the jacket (see last picture). It is a unisex piece that can be worn by women or men (the fashion content creator, Wisdom Kaye has worn it).
