Ok all you unique accessories lovers out there - this belt is almost certainly one-of-a-kind! After doing some research, I believe this handmade belt was probably sold at high-end tourist hotels and shops in Indonesia in the early 80s. It's suede leather dyed mauve/purple with a pearlescent white abalone shell -- the whole shell! -- as a buckle. The inside of the shell has been drilled and a buckle glued in. Excellent condition, no flaws. Max waist size: 29", no stretch.
