Harry Rosenfeld Italian Trunk/Cosmetic Bag Vintage collectible

Incredibly unique trunk style handbag from approx 1950’s-1960’s. Hook closure. Opens like a cosmetic train case. Multi-textured fabric exterior. Brass hardware. Lined interior. Footed bottom. This is a collectible item in vintage condition - wear is consistent with age and use. Please see all photos in secondary listing titled Rosenfeld 2. Measurements are also listed in that listing. Many of Rosenfeld’s pieces were design collaborations with jeweler Kenneth Jay Lane and his work has been shown in The metropolitan Museum of Art (Costume Institute). This item is likely a one of a kind piece - I’ve never seen another like it. Appears to be a custom piece. Would look great in a formal dressing room.
