siennaacre This is really interesting. Been buying on here a while but new to selling. In the past I have offered in the red range (let's say higher end of red) with the expectation that the seller would counter. Is that considered unusual or rude? I am a lawyer and do contract negotiations for a living, so maybe that's why my perspective is different. I would not be upset by a $40 offer on an item I listed at $100, but I would interpret it as an invitation to make a counteroffer.

I get people who offer 70% off for my items. I don't get upset anymore, I just refer to the chart and counter-offer back. I've even had people get angry at me for not accepting their low ball offer that they buy the item at my counter offer price and then spitefully leave negative feedback w/ lies saying.....

morgue6feet @lexi_lamadore that my items weren't packed nice enough or that they smell like smoke...funny thing is I have never smoked a cigarette in my life nor do I allow it in my home or truck. It's just spiteful "mean girl" behavior. It sucks but there is nothing you can do. Hopefully the chart will help. I'll be waiting for your email....Hedy
