bwenger If you go to "Support Center" -- "Community Guidelines" there is a section on them: they are allowed, but posh doesn't claim responsibility if something isn't what you like. Hope that helps! If you can't find the section I'm talking about let me know!

I have had two ladies approach me about this because most wont return shares for a non compliant closet. ptl8 second, I've noticed some closets that have great closets with 75% host picks, others with cheap older stuff also with 75% being HPs. Then I find another with outstanding items and ZERO HPs! Is it a poitical thing? I think they're great at showcasing special items but it seems the same people comprise the majority of HPs....just curious as I don't know how it works. Just learning the rules and trying how to get more sales while helping others! Thx!!!😄

kden_wallace @ptl8 Hello Amy...it's nice to meet you! When you have new follower, it's good to do what you do, but for myself I share no more than 10 items per closet, most you will find will not return the favor. A great way to get your closet noticed and shared is to join share groups. Have you joined in on any? If not I am happy to give you more info and direct you to several great groups. Share groups are an excellent way to increase your sales and meet some amazing ladies.

kden_wallace @ptl8 Concerning Host Picks, they are 75% given to those ladies that you know and pretty much who run in the same circles. When I hosted my party not long ago, we were asked to give at least 25% to new members but the rest I gave to the ladies who had given me HP's (returning the favor) or those I knew from share groups. Joining share groups will increase the odds of a HP because your closet is out there much more and your getting to know so many ladies within the community.

kden_wallace @ptl8 You haven't really been doing it wrong, but like you said it just takes you awhile if their closet is big. Shares groups are awesome, I hosted the Material Girl group, but recently had to give it up because my work increased and I no longer had the time to devote to it. It still continues with another sweet lady who took it over, it's a big group each day, usually 60-80 ladies signing in daily.

kden_wallace @ptl8 Most share groups actually average about 20-40 ladies, Material Girl just happens to be the largest. I will tag you in a few for you to take a look at and see which one or even several may work for you. Most of them you sign in only on the days you want/can share. I usually share in about 3 or 4 on average 3 days week. What's great about them is you are sharing each ladies closet and each of those ladies are sharing yours.

kden_wallace @ptl8 The more groups you join in or the more days you sign in will increase your odds of making sales. My sales increased tremendously when I started in share groups. It's really a great way to get to know so many wonderful ladies and your all there to help and cheer each other on. If you enjoy sharing you'll truly enjoy this. sglassman36 Just to let you know since I am sure you like to stay updated on the most recent Posh information, liquid makeup such as foundation is now a loud as long as it is new of course. I am in a share group and the leader sent an email to Poshmark to specifically asked about that as well as some other items. Just thought I would let you know in case you wanted to update your list. kden_wallace @jordan622 This site is for women's fashion items only, not for any home goods, including books. PM has set these rules to keep it from getting cluttered with unwanted items that have nothing to do with women's fashion. I know there are other apps that do allow the sale of all items, but I, myself like what PM is about and the fact that I'm not scrolling through so much other "stuff" on my feed.😀

kden_wallace @kakijo It could be possible, but I know in my early days of selling, almost 4 years ago, PM came down on me with a warning and without improvement my closet would be closed. Of course I didn't make myself completely aware of the rules and I then chose to comply. In four years I know this site has grown to over 3 million + members, I'm sure they have a lot to do to keep up with it now and we can help by reporting what we see, as I always do.😉

myleopardshirt Hi there! I'm relatively new to Poshmark and as I listed an item a window popped up saying that my item was possibly counterfeit of the brand I listed it as. I knew this wasn't true since I purchased it from the actual store myself. It asked me to certify my listing(which I did) but should I be concerned for my reputation because of the questioning of my listing? Thanks so much!

I can tell you from experience, when I first opened my account a little over four years ago, I had a replica Chanel bag posted and they immediately removed it and I had to argue my ignorance to keep my account open. I was truly unaware of the rules at that time.

jbarney1 Been a user for awhile, have you noticed how many MLM non- approved listings get added - scentsy, DoTerra essential oils, YL essential oils, ItWorks products. I’ve reported things when I see them, but they never get pulled. Seems like I’m wading through more non- fashion items than I used to and it get kind of old. Does PM still pull down non-approved items? I know they used to be really strict!
