vintage_rocks I had it since I was a kid, I use to keep it in a velvet pouch that I made by hand. I wish I would have treated all my jewelry that good, I was kinda careless with some of them. I had some really nice pieces stolen in college, I am glad that beauty made it through my careless years.😁

smokitopaz @sherahanson playing acoustic guitar is where I started. Good old 6 string nylon. I still have mine but one of the tuning knobs cracked and I need to get it fixed. I have a slew of guitars and bass guitars that I've collected over the last 20 years. We're on hiatus now because it's effing hot. I can't wait for autumn!!!

smokitopaz @hellovintage I was hoping I could twist the link and remove it that way but it was not that kind of link, it had to be cut, luckily I have jewelry making tools so I clipped it off easily. I don't know if I will be able to reuse the original pendant. But that's ok. I LOVE ❤️❤️❤️ THE RING! It is so cool. And it goes really well with the necklace. I'm a happy camper! What do you think of the new hair? I got a red ombré last weekend! It's like bubble gum pink in the shower.

I'm sorry to hear you had a bad experience in Miami, I loved it in Dallas, for me was like misfit island? 🌴 Yes visual communications is what they were calling it then, basically graphic design. It cost a fortune and I only got an associates degree. I always wanted to go back and get my bachelors but couldn't afford it. My dream is to go to the Glasgow school of Art. 😘😘😘

smokitopaz @kathej Hey thanks! I would say it depends on the person. I find playing bass easier than guitar because you are playing single notes rather than chords. But I wish I never picked up bass because, use it or lose it. I stopped playing guitar as much and forgot songs I knew by heart. So I would recommend learning both. Guitar for theory, and bass for easy play. 🖤

So glad you like the necklace and the earrings!!! 😊😊 the long green feather is from my severe macaw (Q), the white and curly yellow feather is from my citron cockatoo (Topaz), the tiny white feather and smaller long, skinny pale yellow ones are from my fancy parakeet (Peep) and the smallish green/blue feather is from my conure(Penny)!

smokitopaz @arasevera The collection started very young. My first scrap fight was over a blue jay feather I found in a friend’s yard. They said it was on their property so it belonged to them. I apparently punched him in the nose in the fight over it. Then forced to apologize (in comes mom) and give them the feather. Weird but true! I was probably 8.
