@gypsys_attic Thank you so much....you just made my whole week! His birthday is June 14th, and we still celebrate and buy him presents then we find a sick child in the hospital and donate the gifts to that child. I'm so blessed that God gave him to me, but God also made me a momma and sometimes my heart just hurts. Today was a rough day...I allow myself to cry and then I pick myself up and carry on, because I wouldn't honor Zachys life if I just gave up!! I hope you have an amazing night!

be sure that your little angel is so proud of you❤️ up in heaven he's so happy that god gave him such an amazing mom. Every good thing you do for other kids makes him admire you more. You didn't lose him, be sure that he's with you wherever you go... angels live forever. I know it's the hardest thing to go through when a parent loses a child. But god wanted him to be in heaven, the most amazing place to be that's how special he was.

@babyguppie77 Thank you, he is always with us in our hearts. He was absolutely amazing and he went through so much. He never complained or felt sorry for himself so I try to do the same. As I read your card I had tears rolling down my face and my first thought was I can’t imagine losing a child to anything ....especially to something as awful as cancer. My son always worried about the other sick children at the hospital, even giving his favorite toy away to one of them. He died at home in my arms 3 weeks before his 8th birthday.

@ediebwaller that sounds beautiful! I wear a cross that Zachy got me for Mother’s Day a couple of months before he died. Then I also have a little Sterling cowboy hat that holds a tiny bit of his ashes in it. Zachy asked to be cremated before he died, I think it was so his ashes would be at home with me.

I didn’t tell you this but the heart I wear has Candice’s ashes. We were at the DMV getting her state ID. She asked me if I would give to the Gift-of-Life. I told her “No.” She was shocked and ask me “Why not?” I told her I wanted to go whole to the grave. (That was a lame answer from me) Candice then told me, “But mom, that’s just a shell of your body, your spirit goes to heaven. “
