@lissalynn26 I will note that the photos on my mom's page and mine are not enhanced or filtered in any way. The only change to the photos are the words/labels. I don't like to misrepresent the colors or change them because I've been misled that way. (False advertising sucks). The pictures represent exactly what the buyer will receive.

@floralmajesty I do that all of the time 😉 I agree with you on false advertisement. I may have 2 or 3 posts that I have used one of Poshmarks "vintage" option and I used it only because I couldn't get the lighting right. However, I always post the real color in my posting as some of the colors we get to choose are not accurate to my item.

Yea, for the cover photo I think the filter is great. But at least have the actual color in the remaining photos! I bought a "forest green" sweater on here because it was green in all of the photos. When I received it was brown! :( So not cool!

I have a Pinterest to save things on private boards and so the floral majesty name just changed to match my Posh closet name. I have Pinterest linked to my Posh acct so when I share a new item or like something it gets saved to Pinterest. I haven't noticed any sales from Pinterest traffic.

@andrene29 no problem. I'm originally from Jamaica as well. There are many Afro-Caribbean dance studios in the states, which is where I reside. If you google Afro-Caribbean or Afro-Caribbean dance you'll find an endless amount of information on the term. It's quite interesting.

@verbalgymnast I'm definitely gonna do some googling cause I never once heard a Jamaican refer themselves or use the term Afro Caribbean. I recently saw a post on Facebook where Americans use the term (Afro-black) and a lot them reside in the states where pretty angry about it...it's either your black or whatever race...from Jamaica or the Caribbean. I'm sorry or might sound ignorant but I feel it's Americans came up with this term... Oh by the way which part of Jamaica did you live?

@andrene29 I do not not have I ever referred to myself as Afro-Caribbean. It's just how the dance is termed. It's not a term I use outside of speaking about the dance. There is history factor behind it all which I appreciate. It's not done simply to segregate us into black and white. While I'm sure it was Americans who coined the term as we don't call ourselves Afro-Caribbean, I don't take offense. I'm from St. Ann. Again, I'm only referring to a dance and would never call myself Afro-Caribbean.
