High waisted knit multicolor hot pants shorts

Boutique brand “Sketchbook” short shorts / retro 70s style hot pants with a multicolor rainbow knit zigzag chevron pattern. Two vertical satin stripes on front. Closure is a hidden zipper and eye hook. Fully lined with a soft, satiny gray lining. Fabric has some stretch to it. The care tag has been removed, but I would guess that the lining is polyester. Unsure of the knit material. These are not vintage but they absolutely have a 1970’s retro vibe to them. They would look perfect with a halter top and knee high boots or platforms. Flaws: there is a snag in the knit fabric at the bottom of the zipper. It does not impact the wearability. It could probably be trimmed without issue. See photo for detail.
