mskblackx I hear you!! I think that was the year the original creative directors left, and the whole brand became pretty much overpriced Gap.. 😔 I had a good luck scouting some old pieces on EBay..

I just drooled over how lovely the mannequins were dressed and how I wanted everything! At the time I could only afford the deeply discounted rack. Hoping I can find more pieces from then! xoxo

piperidine @anatkblack Yay! Yeah, do you know the name of the top off-hand? As a side note, I've toyed with the idea of putting together a blog or blog type search (like with lulu fanatics) for AllSaints from birth to slow ruin...lol. The best I can put together is stuff from waybackmachine and get some stock photos/descriptions, but they're becoming harder to find. If I only didn't have a day job that competes with clothing hobby time. :(

piperidine @mountainshadow I managed to get to the Boston, Miami and San Fran stores for those seasons and only could walk away with a few things. I really resonated with those looks and everything was just so unique and flattering. Oh well! As a side note, I totally drool/inspired by your closet. thiscrudeweapon I have found a few things from Spitalfields on TheRealReal and Thredup - I recommend the former rather than the latter though. Hey just out of curiosity, do you own the black Jayda dress? Asking because I purchased one on ebay and the fabric looks like a weird grey rather than black so i'm wondering if its authentic but I cant find any blogs or reviews on it

piperidine @thiscrudeweapon hmm I checked out the style and no, I don’t have that dress. Can you take a pic of the garment tags (typically in the side hem, allsaints.com fabric info...)? It contains the serial number as_xxxx and it will help to authenticate the item.

thiscrudeweapon @piperidine that's a smart move 😊 i'm a huge allsaints fan (I saved your closet so I can come check your inventory) but I was tripping out over this dress. It has the same tags and stitching as the other two jayda dresses I own that I got straight from allsaints (I know, I have problems) but the black is super weird and has a grey sheen to it. Maybe that's just how the dress is supposed to look though

piperidine @thiscrudeweapon I owned all of the Melody dresses at some point myself- one little detail is that they switched the all saints brand tag based on locations. I get you when you find a style you love ❤️ I really only know the styles up to as late as 2012...so I’m not familiar with the later tags. There should be a s-m-l style tag, layered with a garment and fabric care tag. I can’t comment on the fabric as they changed a lot after they really expanded to American stores.

mermaidsongs When the outlets first opened in 2015 and around then, they were only selling pieces from the older collections, like 2012. All spitalfields. If you find someone who works for AllSaints or used to, especially the outlets semi recently, you’ll probably find these pieces

Its the Angel dress (this one I’m linking to) but has been artfully dyed (which is how I bought it) a pink kinda tie dyed color.
