pamiliaspantry @picklelova I showed a picture of those beads to a Navajo friend of mine, he does not think they are Navajo made either! He hand makes bench beads! His are $800 each! But anyway, let me know what happens! Pam

picklelova @tashafly6 yes I dont believe they are either. Seeing the multicolored ones, which she posted after I made the purchase, made me question the authenticity even moreso. I'm assuming the turquoise is fake as well which will make it that much easier to process a return once I receive them. I had questions before I even purchased but didn't want to miss an opportunity. silly me for jumping too quickly I should know better by now lol

picklelova @tashafly6 it does say it has been shipped and is in usps custody. And posh only takes about 3 days so we should know soon but yes, I believe they're imported. Epic fail on my part but Mer-carry and poshmark are usually pretty good about returns for things like that so I'm going to stay positive haha

picklelova @tashafly6 I recently went through a similar situation with someone on the 'other' selling app where I purchased a squash blossom which the seller insisted was genuine turquoise and navajo. And it was an honest mistake she genuinely thought it was real because that's how it was sold to her at the Santa Fe native marketplace. But I tested the turq and it was indeed fake. Poor woman believed it real

pamiliaspantry @picklelova I bought a pair of earrings(Rocki Gorman); she finally showed me the hallmark! So I purchased those because I had some cash in my posh account! It’s her signature(I think)although those stamps can be purchased.,and I collect dragonfly’s! Oh well, won’t be the first time or the last to be sold fake stuff!

picklelova @dehavenarts yes ma'am. Mexican made. But it was sold as vintage, to me.. Still a lovely piece but the turquoise is also block turquoise. I think mine sold for 150 but you may be able to get more! And I hope you do!
